Underrated gem. I seriously think Silver's speech to Jim is one of the best in cinema. "You've got the makings of greatness in you, but you've got to take the helm and chart your own course. Stick to it no matter the squalls. And when the time comes you'll really get the chance to test the cut of your sails.... Well, I hope I'm there. Catching some of the light coming off you that day."

I personally thought they were so fun, but I can also understand why people don't like them so I've very curious to see what you'll think. Night was my favorite book that I read in high school. ahhh, supernatural romances were my jam too. The Charley Davidson series is a nice adult supernatural romance that is also hilarious, plus mixed with mysteries. I'm actually going to read Night for the Reading Rush, definitely going to be an emotional ride.

I would recommend Night, but maybe not right now. It is beautiful and haunting, but also very dark. Such an important book to read though.

Highly recommend Middlesex. I read it earlier this year, and I think it’s my favorite book that I’ve read in 2020. It has memorable characters and I find myself thinking about it months later.

Viscous is really good, I liked The Shades of Magic trilogy and This Savage Song ...and really anything by VE Schwab, but before you read any of those books please check out The Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning. SO AWESOME!!! The original series is 5 books, she has since written more, but the first 5 are the best.
