I like how Paul is 100% encouraging them to do the same stuff he did when he was younger. The way he spinning the tires might be needing a rear gear replacement before to long. The only way they will ever learn is to make their own mistakes just like we all had to do when we were young.

A friend of mine had a 2002 silverado, same Era with a 4.8L. You would've thought he was trying to destroy it, it went down dirt roads at 100 kmh and spent more time on the Rev limiter than idle, it never died until the rust got it. I'm convinced they're indestructible

@@devilselbow I had a 2006 and 2010 gmc Savana van that both had the 4.8 too, I beat on them as hard as the day is long, the engine was the only good part left when they went away. It didn't mind 5500 rpm 😅

Same situation happened to me. Except it was wider and I hit the wall face of the dirt on my RM125. I only broke both my legs. My mom made sure my a$$ stayed red for months. This was in 1982. Last year I ran into my house jumping my driveway on another dirt bike. Wife warned me I would, but I didn't break anything this time, WIN!

In our younger days, My kid brother Jack (RIP) And I did all our own auto and truck repair. Mostly on our backs on a dirt driveway or cold garage floor, We graduated to floor jacks and jack stands it was a vast improvement from bumper jacks and 8x8 blocks. Always dreamed of a garage with a lift. Never happened Now I depend on my Son in laws to get down to it when the need arises. I miss him terrible, But I watch you two and remember us, You two are making future memories on video and that is awesome in my book.

Must be nice to have good breaks. I had a ton GMC flat bed that had the right front break only. I pulled a cattle trailer around a lot. When Hunter said he didn't have to downshift now it brought back memories for me. Love your videos. God Bless

Car parts from the scrap pile. Reminds me when I got my first car in 1970. It was a 1962 Ford Galaxy 500 driven hard with over 100,000 miles on it. Had to go to Koivisto's junk yard out in Palo for steering parts to make it drivable. Good memories.
