I am one who doesn’t watch much television, streaming or anything else. Because I have many outdoor projects I listen to music and recorded books. A young neighbor of mine who started a lawn mowing business when he was nine years old (to buy his own motorcycle) told me about Matt’s off road KZbin channel about 2 years ago. If I am watching tv it is tuned to KZbin and Matt’s, Fab Rats and Robbie Layton’s channels mostly. I have enjoyed watching the entire Golden Nugget restoration on all 3 channels. I have visited Matt at his shop and at the Hurricane car show last year before I was diagnosed with cancer. It has been a long recovery and I am happy that I had these guys and girls to watch during my marathon Chemotherapy treatments. I love the products that are offered from the websites and appreciate what these fine people have done with the profits. Being someone who has “back yard”restored a couple of Jeeps I am amazed and somewhat envious of the work these guys do. I am currently working on a CJ7. Thanks for all you do! Keep up the good work! P.S. a big shout out to Rudy and Lizzie! I love their enthusiasm, hard work and welding skills! They Rock!

This is awesome. It's awesome seeing Ed react, but it's also awesome to rewatch the progression of this build.

You guys put so much love, sweat and work in this whole build! We loved watching it all along the way! This video shows just how much went into it! No wonder Robby dreamt of sanding! Sooo much sanding!! And taking it apart and back together twice?!!! Wow! The funniest part was watching Matt yawning and then nodding off! Moving his body trying to stay awake! Omg! We are dying!! 😉😂😂 Great job everyone! 👌👍😊

This is so great to see Ed’s reaction for how much incredible amounts of work everyone put in on their free time to get the Golden Nugget to look as amazing as it does. Great job again!!! Thanks!

Matt needed a nap , robby need some water, and ed needed some popcorn. They watched a show of a life time. Friends at a campfire telling life's stories. Ya gotta love it. The only thing to say is great job to the Layton crew. Every buddy's uncle Ed is definitely loved by all . Thanks # miles of smiles

Thanks for doing this. I love all of Ed’s comments. He reminds me of my grandfather and how he reacted when we restored one of his tractors behind his back. 🤣

My wife and I have been watching from the start of your collaboration on the Golden Nugget restoration. I have be working on cars since I was 15 yrs. old. I went college to get trained and certified as well. I'm 45 yrs. old having experience in everything and love everything I do, so you can imagine how much I take pride in all that I do. Spectacular Excellence is my personal motto, belief system, and outlook on life. Let me say that "Brother--You are the exact physical embodiment of Spectacular Excellence. Well done my friend. You even taught this old dog some new tricks XD. I will continue watching your channel. Keep up the great episodes. They're our light in a time growing darker.

#mattsoffroadrecovery my favorite line is Ed saying “you dented that up pretty good “..😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣 and the best part is that you can see the smirk on his face when he says it !

It was agony for me to watch the sanding and prep, because I know how much I hate it myself. But, the end product is something to be very proud of! I'm super happy that everyone involved shared all of this with us, the viewers. Helped me keep my mind off the loss of my dad in November! You have no idea how much all of this helped me thru my rough patch! Thank you to all involved in this amazing series! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

WOW! I loved the video. Watched till the end. I never knew Ed was a paint and body guy. He had some excellent questions. Robby and crew are amazing. Thank you guys so much.

Ed is mostly quiet just watching it, and I wondered how much he really understood about the rebuild. Then at 6:40 "Naw, that doesn't matter if its tempered steel".

I love that you guys put 80,000 dollars (uneducated guess) worth of pure skill and man hours into a rig that wasn't worth scrap value and I'm not sure Ed has any concept, but it doesn't matter to you guys!. We know guys, we know. That alone is an amazing gift you were able to provide. We love every hand that touched those rigs!
