When souping up Power Wheels, make sure to put a heavy duty floor switch in it, or it could weld itself together. The end result is a mad dash for a Power Wheels that can out run you. Don't ask me how I know. ;-)

@@macking104 nope, I did it. Rewired a power wheels to 12vdc, used a large battery, plopped one of my daughters in it for a test run, it did a gnarly burnout, caught traction, and didn’t stop. I caught it… barely

Man, your derbys are brutal! Where I live, the courses are so small that people can't get any speed up, and there are so many rules about where you can and can't hit people, it's not even fun to watch. Yours look like a blast!

Hillbilly forgot to shim the oil pump 😋😂 I think Holley says if you leave the bolts loose and turn it over a few times it will self center before you tighten them

Change the power wheels battery out with 2 riding lawn mower batteries and if you can find a power wheels corvette put the gear boxes from that on a power wheels jeep. Get some nylon strap and a clasp for a seat belt and it should be ready for some drifting😁.

brings back memories.. staying late all week and all night thrashing friday night to get 2 cars on the track saturday evening and being too tired to drive home.. those cars wouldnt be allowed on the tracks we ran.. The engine/tans cradle is a really cool idea
