If I ever stop checking out y'all videos, . Send flowers! Because, I'm headed home to see Elizabeth 🤣 . I first got hooked on a show called Wild American. Now I'm watching y'all. Living for the outdoors is what makes us all brothers and sisters. Keep it up. What a combo. And remember! Leave the places we enjoy cleaner than we found them. Dad's rule.

Don’t think I will ever stop getting goosebumps when I hear that reel screaming. There is just something amazing about floating peacefully taking in the site’s of the natural beauty around you. So glad you two had such a great day.

About time you got home. We've been waiting for you. Looks like Kitty is done chasing elk for the time being, and what a beautiful day. Nice to see you back with an episode.

It takes awhile to walk home from Kyuquot, especially when towing 100lb of fish in a cooler. 🤣

Try a coyote spoon , Chartruese and white behind a flasher always gave me a Great day out there .. Kitty drop a hook down and then reel it up Fast , Coho 's will hit it every time I found that up in Langara one time ... Enjoy ALL Thanks for sharing brought back Many fond memeories.

Good one Rod. I might check out these guys for a trip when I’m over in July/early August. Reckon they’d take a single like me? My husband doesn’t fish unfortunately. Carol, from Sydney, Australia.

Unfortunately their packages are usually for two or three people (per room, per boat). Every now and then they'd get a one person request and they'll hold the spot for you while waiting for another single angler to join, but that's unusual because the spots are usually taken up really fast by groups (I think there are only half a dozen group spots left for this year).

Rod, do you have any lake recommendations near Merritt? I was hoping to make a day trip there this Friday. I have a boat and the ability to troll or fly fish.
@FishingwithRod Жыл бұрын
That's a tough one. Most of the lakes around Merritt are just thawing out completely at the moment. Not all of them will be ice free by Friday I think, but many should be... I like Marquart Lake and Lundbom Lake, they're probably the easiest ones to fish in the area, but I have a feeling they won't be ready. Harmon, Kane and Second in the Kane Valley are also good, but tougher lakes to fish. Stump Lake is productive, but bigger and would only recommend it if you have a gas motor.
