The Tunnel Tops at the Presidio is a great place to spend the day picnicking, walking, and taking in the spectacular panoramic views of San Francisco. There is also a great playground with interesting ranger station activities for kids.

Thanks for the video, it brought back some good memories of when I was stationed at the Presidio in '76 while I was in the Army. San Francisco at that time was a great place to live and work without all the problems that it now has.

Wow! Thank you for sharing! Presidio is definitely a very special place. Yes, agreed with you, San Francisco has some serious issues now that all of us are aware of and I hope that they will get resolved or at least improve some day… And of course, I am happy the city has built this new park which is safe and clean and people can just come here with their families and enjoy!

@@frompacificawithlove2351 - Agreed that it looks like a most beautiful place. Oh, I forgot to mention that my son was born in Letterman Army Hospital which was located on the Presidio. The domed building in the background (near the marina) use to be a science museum. Is it still that or has it been changed to something else? Curious minds want to know LOL.

The Exploratorium Science Museum relocated to the Embarcadero close to the Ferry Building and the old space is now both a theater and an event space.

@@williamzavlaris4054 - Thank you for sharing that piece of information. It's nice to know that the Exploratorium is still alive and functioning. I remember taking my daughter there when she was 4-years old.
