Killer video! Dr. Bob demonstrates how to take direction, listen, and quickly understand what the producer wants while adding his own ideas and creativity to the song. This takes years to perfect. Practice, practice, practice!

The amount of times I ran this back to see how you were sticking the tom roll at 9:30... That double on the rack tom threw me off. Butter.

Seems natural to see you behind a kit. The algorithm suggested your video and your name was so familiar. So, I did what any curious computer user does... I googled you and saw you grew up in Alexandria. We played together a half-dozen times at Anderson East Side on Sunday night when I went to AU and you were a mere teenager. It’s so great to see your success (and not surprising)! You are very talented and a great teacher. Thanks for the content. Blessings!

Oh wow man small world! I learned a lot playing at Eastside and Paul Yerden was always very nice to me as a kid. Thanks for hanging out and watching Steve.

@@BobbyHuff Thanks, but I quit playing 5 years ago. Sold every piece of gear I owned and just came to grips with it was just not going to happen. The Elvis Aloha from Hawaii cover video I did on my channel was the last thing I did and then I sold everything.
@cary34283 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that. I couldn’t possibly stop. Why not pickup a new instrument, just for the joy? ✌️
@mochs38693 жыл бұрын
@@cary3428 Thanks for that - but that's why I quit playing any music - I lost the joy, and I can't get it back. It's what depression does - makes it so you don't enjoy things you used to anymore.

That guitar sound on that second track is pretty outstanding, interested to know what's being used there. My best guess is a Les Paul through some serious gain pedals or rack unit, doesnt sound like a kemper to me though. Very unique..very rock steady. Also the harmony effect almost sounds like a tc helicon

Near the end of one of your videos it looks like there is a big speaker with a red light flashing to the click. What was that? I can't find which video now. Thanks!!

This session was exactly how it went down. No editing as they wanted that real feel. There are many sessions like you are speaking of and I’ll show one in the future but this session was shown warts and all! Thanks for watching.
