Yeah, I join you with joy. I'm already in my thirties, but I like to relax with fine cartoons and aldult cartoons, and I think that people take this silly piece of media way too seriously. Fair placed constructive criticism is more than welcome, but this hunt after Viv and her creations has crossed that fine line multiple times in my eyes. It doesn't need to be perfect to be enjoyed, Viv is still doing job that has made my day more laid back. I thought the Season finale was as close to perfect as we could hope for (I was hoping it would be revealed Angels are vulnerable to Angelic Steel because they are no better than Sinners but whatever). My two favourite moments were Vox’s “oh sh*t” after Niffty’s big moment (dude said what we were all thinking), and Sir Pentious’s final fate … Emily’s squeak was too adorable and Sera’s expression was golden (kiss it Sera!) 😆😆😆 Thanks for posting this on my Cake Day, Finny-Finn and hug your furbabies all 🎁🎂💙🐱💙🎂🎁

I will die by the fact that the Vee duet at the end of Finale (which is a vague but fitting name for the final song) is probably the best thing this has done. I think the show being a happy ending for everyone, especially those who don’t deserve one is a neat touch. (Also seeing Val and Vox being so silby together despite being horrible people warms my frigid heart)

I do think it's a bit too early to judge Lilith . It kind of pains me to see people immediately thinking she's the absolute worst without knowing how or why she ended up in Heaven. I'm biased since I love the mytholical figure of Lilith (and the Binding of Isaac character, haha) , but it's weird to me that she's suddenly the most abhorrent person ever in the eyes of the fandom. 3:52 I love the "Hello Rosie" episode so much. Vaggie and Camilla's duel dance number was great. Getting properly introduced to Rosie was also a blast. But just seeing Alastor proudly giving his staff to Charlie and then proceeding to stand on the sidelines with Rosie, smiling as Charlie wins over the cannibals gives off such "parents at your kid's first theatre play" vibes. I think I just like Charlie finally getting support from the people around her and the song is a banger too Edit: Also 3:26 I genuinely can't tell you how glad I am to realize I'm not the only one terminally online enough to immediately think of the ballet shoes from Undertale as Carmilla revealed how she killed the angel. My theory for Lilith is that, after centuries leading Hell, she finally lost faith in Hell for the first time. Unlike Lucifer, she took it way worse, and made that deal with Adam. Which will kinda set up either a hilarious openingfor season 2, or a Luke Skywalker/Darth Vader plotline between Charlie and Lilith, respectively.

I had such a fantastic time with this series and even though we lost Pentious (who’s now a white snek) I believe we’re gonna have two new people staying at the Hotel (Lucifer and Cherri Bomb!) Being a musical theater lover, I had nothing but a big smile on my face when the songs played and imo there were NO BAD SONGS! All of them slapped HARD! The music, the singers (hell I’m still shocked that they have THE Jeremy Jordan playing Lucifer, not to mention Keith David as Husk!) So much so I got the soundtrack on ITunes I am so HYPED for Season 2!!

I was satisfied with the first season. To be honest, it was a shame that Dazzle and Sir Pentious had to die. Im pretty sure Vaggie got her wings back because Angels/Winners live by the same rules as Sinners… they can be hurt, mutilated and even blown to pieces and still be able to slowly regenerate themselves as long as they’re not hurt by angelic weaponry (Velvette references this fact back in episode 2 while talking to Vox about her model who was torn and mutilated by Valentino) That’s why Vaggie regenerated her wings but not her Eye… her wings were simply ripped out by hand while her eye was cut out with an angelic sword.

I LOVED this show to me it was worth the wait, while there are some pacing issues (this could be from the streaming and A24 giving them only 8 episodes to work with or it was a choice by the creator idk) my only wish is that we got more episodes at least a couple of Charlie and the hotel staff and residents working on getting along and making progress I even had a silly idea of an episode being Charlie and Alastor and Vaggie have to leave the Hotel for the day to do errands or insert plot development here and while they are gone Angel and Sir Pentious have to complete a task and shenanigans ensue or even they have to find Nifty who got high on cleaning fumes and have to search town to find her with Husks help. my point is just smaller scale episodes like the club scene in Welcome to Heaven where its just that group hanging out and caring for each other. But again not much can really be done about that with the limited episodes and I only hope we get more scenes like the club scene and them hanging out in season 2

Sir Pentious may have died in the season finale, but that doesn't mean we have seen the last of him. He may come back in the second season when he is getting use living in heaven. But there is something that is bothering me since I watched the 8th episode. Why didn't his egg minions or one of Charlie's goats went to heaven with him?

I was really hoping for the season finale that we get an Overlord death. Here's how I would have set it up and revise bits of the story to make it all work: Alastor knows Rosie from before, but it has been 7 years since his absence. He goes to Rosie, who has since risen up to be overlord of all of Cannibal Town, and tries to get her to throw her army behind Charlie. Rosie is naturally skeptical, deals with Alastor never seem to go well, so Alastor sweetens the pot: if Rosie throws in with Charlie, they can have a contest of power against each other afterwards i.e. they compare who has more power, and the winner owns the other's soul, simple and straightforward. Rosie laughs, Alastor has been away for seven years, so he might not have noticed but she's most definitely stronger than him now. Alastor goads her some more: "Then it should be easy for you." They shake on it, and both their inner demon shadows start showing through. After Alastor is gone, Rosie starts planning aloud, how her power now consists of All the denizens of Cannibal Town, and once they're empowered by Angel flesh, then all of Alastor's souls are as good as hers. Reason for change: Cements that Overlords are still evil, not just some passive group sitting back doing nothing... Also sets up a better reason for why Rosie would give her army to Charlie than just "Wow I like your spunk kid!"... Alastor later brings her to Rosie where the whole scene plays out the same as before. But now we as the audience know that Rosie has an actual good reason to dedicate her followers to the cause. This will cut down a lot of the dead time from this long sequence by well a lot... At the scene of the final battle, remake some of the fight scenes. make it more clear that Alastor's shield cuts off half of the Angel army. Lute says it aloud to Adam, who responds slightly annoyed "Yeah, I can see that, dumb b*". Rosie is shown fighting alongside the group. Angels start falling to the Angelic weapon wielding zombies. The group starts to gain hope, the plan is working! Rosie notes that they've lost a quarter of her army, she sounds out of breath, Charlie is concerned, Rosie notes its just that she's never lost so many followers at once (shows that her power is tied to her cannibal followers). Charlie gives encouragement, and Rosie tells her that "Yes, she'll go all in on this fight because she likes her gumption". Lute sounds concerned to Adam that they have weapons that kill Angels, Adam responds "They're using our own weapons! That's just so lame! You're all so incompetent, stupid Bleep bleep" But now Adam finally steps in, uses his Angelic powers to shatter the bubble. beams of light shoot down, and all the Angels that were cut down start getting back up again! Oh no, the weapons weren't the key at all (Hint, it's love you nitwits, it's Always Love). Angels start killing off more zombies. Cue Adam fighting Alastor, ends same as before. Adam starts raining down on the battle. Sirpentious does his sacrifice. Let him actually fire off his blimp laser. Adam is pushed back a bit, but fires back and kills off Sirpentious. Let us actually see Sirpentious look startled at the screen of Adam as he sees the blast coming, then he's gone. Charlie goes up to fight Adam, etc etc, one of her bodyguards gets killed. Rosie tries to protect Charlie from Adam with her demonic shadow showing and everything but gets blasted back by Adam, who then deals a fatal blow to her as she's lying down. Adam makes a smug comment about how it's "just like squishing bugs, so satisfying..." Adam then turns to Charlies and goes to strike her down, throw in a comment about how "She doesn't know the first thing about getting in to Heaven". Insert Lucifer fight. Let Adam get stabbed off by Vaggie at the end, wow and he stays dead, what a nice clean wrap! Aftermath of the battle, Alastor is doing his sad song about how the place reeks of death, has he gone astray, throw in some self pity... Part way through his crisis, he comes across Rosie, still alive, but clearly hurt. At first her demon shadow lashes out in defense, but reels back to show Rosie very hurt. "Oh Alastor, it's good to see a friendly face." Alastor gives his devilish grin, and proclaims that it's time to call in that bet. Rosie recoils back, No! But Alastor grips her shadow, green lights fwoosh and Rosie gets green chained and sucked away, we hear her screams recede. Alastor is looking better, still clearly injured, but not on the verge of death anymore with renewed strength he ascends his radio tower to finish his song. Final scene change, Charlie and group are mourning all the lives lost, Dazzle.. Sirpentious... Rosie.. Alastor.. "Oh Im not dead, yet!" Alastor shows up to lift everyone's spirits, and they start the scene of rebuilding the hotel looking forward to the future. The statue at the hotel commemorates Everyone that fought and died for the hotel, Dazzle, Sirpentious and Rosie (Nobody cares about the zombie cannibals, but oh well).. I like this take, adds a bit more complexity to the whole army showing up and being thrown away. We get to see more demon shadows, which come up every time they get passionate about something. And most of all it shows more demonic deals, really cement how this is how power is gained in Hell. Also show that Alastor has his own plans going on here. We know he has ulterior motives to helping, this just gives a super solid example of it, and it ends with the death of an Overlord, what a finisher for S1. What do you think, love it? Hate it?

So the fact that sir pentious appeared in the same room as our two serifs as well as the amount of eyes he has, does this mean he himself is a serif now do you guys think? Also theory I have, Since Sir Pentious died and went to heaven for doing something virtious, does that mean Adam dying might have made him a sinner in hell? Also hands down my favorite song that I listen to on repeat has got to be "you didnt know" with "Respectless" coming in second. The duet between Charlie and Emily was just amazing. As for favorite episode? I don't know, honestly? I have a hard time picking but I would say it has to be either 6, 8 or 4 not necisarly in that order.

Amazing season finale! I love the battle scenes and I was getting exited for Razzle and Dazzle to be yaknow IN ACTION but nah DAZZLE DED NUU at least they build a statue of him. So I have a theory that one of the season 2 eps will focus on Razzle and Dazzle HOPEFULLY

Here’s a quick theory if Serpentes was able to ascend by redeeming himself and then getting killed and then was able to re-manifest in heaven, wouldn’t it work the other way around for the winners? And since Adam is a winner, with that theory in mind, he could potentially re-manifest in hell or at the very least become a fallen angel

Wonderful episodes! Sir Pentious fate was mostly suprising, but the least „wow“ part to me. Still an interesting cliffhanger for worldbuilding stuff. (Why did he get into heaven? Did this even happen before? Was it because of Charlie or other reasons?)

Charlie's Canon age is 200 #Theory Charlie wasn't first children of Lilith and Lucifer but they all born death. LadySygerrik Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. The finale was such an epic showdown, seeing Charlie and Lucifer kick the absolute s*** out of Adam. At the same time, Lucifer roasts Adam over the fact Lucifer ended up with Lilith and maybe even had a thing with Eve, Sir Pentious sadly sacrificing himself after kissing Cherri like a total CHAD, and Niffty stabbing Adam to death. I loved this show so much, and it truly felt like the wait was worth it. Plus, we now know officially that Sinners can, in fact, be redeemed, with Pentious ending up in Heaven, which had me ROARING WITH JOY because he was a total legend who earned it. It also looks like Lilith will be an antagonist next season and try to stop Charlie under some deal with Heaven, so this will cause a lot of family conflict for Charlie in Season 2.

If I had a nickel for every animated series on a streaming service that I've seen unalive Adam in the first season, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's strange that it happened twice. Right? For anyone wondering, the other series is Record Of Ragnarok, and it wasn't even the season finale. That was "History's Greatest Loser", Kojiro Sasaki, getting Humanity's first win of the tournament. Against Poseidon.
