I love the design of the bottom compartment on the 20 liter (reminds me of the Alpaka Shift Backpack), but I wish they had a chest strap & at least one exterior water bottle holder. Would be an instant buy from me if they had those. Oh well...

Thank you for your feedback! The Urth Carry Collection is a truly exceptional backpack that combines both style and functionality in one elegant package. From its sleek and modern design to its durable construction, this backpack is a must-have for anyone who wants to look good while staying organized and comfortable. One of the standout features of the Urth Carry Collection is its use of eco-friendly materials. The backpack is made from a combination of recycled plastic bottles and upcycled cotton, which not only helps to reduce waste but also makes for a more durable and long-lasting product:)

Big miss on not having loops on the camera cube so you can attach a shoulder strap.
@RushfasterTV4 ай бұрын
While it's a miss not having loops for a shoulder strap on URTH's camera cube, it's still a great product with excellent build quality and protection for your gear. Plus, URTH's commitment to sustainability is a big win:)

For the Arkose, does the laptop compartment go all the way down of the entire back of the bag? or does it only go until the top part of the lower compartment of the bag? Because im worried if i insert my 14" laptop, will it bend if i open the bottom camera compartment?
@RushfasterTV5 ай бұрын
Hello. Thanks for the comment! The laptop compartment of the Arkose goes all the way down the entire back of the bag. Your 14" laptop will not bend when you open the bottom camera compartment. Cheers!

Does it have a luggage passthrough ?
@RushfasterTV8 ай бұрын
Neither the Urth 16" Arkose Modular Backpack 20L nor the Urth 15" Norite Modular Backpack 24L mention having a luggage pass-through explicitly. However, both backpacks offer features such as multiple storage zones, padded laptop compartments, and durable weatherproof recycled nylon construction.

@@RushfasterTV I was wondering if the accessory straps provided can double up as a luggage passthrough somehow if they extend enough across the back do you think?

Without the bottom cube in the arkose, does the bottom completely loose it’s shape? I was thinking about using it as a water slot but I’m worried the shape will be lost.

Yes, there’s not structure without the cube in there.

I have the black version and I think that only where there is the mesh fabric some stain could appear. The other material is looks like nylon that don’t stain very easily and it’s simple to clean.

Hello. Thank you for your question! The featured Urth products are weather-resistant, providing protection in light rain and damp conditions. While it's not fully waterproof like a dry bag, it offers excellent durability in various weather conditions. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!

My question for these camera bag designers like urth and brevite, why put the heaviest gear at the bottom? doesn't that make it harder to carry?
@buddyWalrus3 жыл бұрын
the bag would likely cave in at the bottom if you put heavy camera gear in the top. So when you put it on the ground it will fall over no matter what. It would need some sort of support structure built in like some of the high end hiking back packs.
@PareWorks3 жыл бұрын
@@buddyWalrus The point is, it would be better for our backs and shoulders. Yes, there would be a new problem to solve, but that's what design is about.
@buddyWalrus3 жыл бұрын
@@PareWorks Of course it would be better for our back. No where in my response did I deny that. The Errant backpack by Boundary has a top camera carry option for you. Just be prepared for it to fall over anytime you need to set it down.

From the video, it just seems like a less well designed Lowepro Fastpack, very reminiscent of the old Orion Trekker from Lowepro, with all the annoyances that Lowepro fixed a long time ago. The design is minimal but looks way cheaper. Only complaint about the Fastpack III is that it looks too techy, and that Urth looks cleaner, but that's about it

Set-up and daily use looks overcomplicated and under-thought. The price point is great and the accessories are nice in their own, but as one unit, this isn't nearly as intuitive as Brevite's or Peak Design's output. The company's focus on sustainability is great however
