A little story behind her blue jay friend: - Every person born in your village are not born alone. Since the beginning of your village, your people needed guidance, they had no one to look up to as they aren’t the most social beings. One night, a simple boy went to the forest and prayed to the gods. The boy said, “Please gods, please. My people are misguided. They fear everything and are not willing to explore. They stay huddled in their homes day and night. My people need someone to help them. Please gods, please help us.” The boy went home that night and the village was the same. But he never lost hope. Years later, after the boy had died, a miracle happened. The gods had listened. Babies were born and from their soul came another. The gods believed that the best guidance a person can have is themselves. So the gods made it that, when born, the soul would be split. Two beings were created from the same conscience. The baby was innocent and curious, while the other was protecting and nurturing. The village people would no longer be afraid, but they would also be safe in their new journeys... Ingrid’s blue jay went quiet and Ingrid looked at him. - And that is how you and I are together. You have watched over me since I was little and guided me. You and I are the same yet so different. Thank you for everything, my friend. Ingrid looked back to the beautiful flower she picked and warmly smiled. Hope you enjoy! Edit: and thank you to anyone who read and enjoyed my last story for the last video, it meant so much to me! Thank you Dina for liking it and pinning it, that also made me so happy. I love your art and always am inspired by it to create fun little stories. I enjoy writing and writing about something like art is so fun.

She seems like a bell keeper. Maybe she's the daughter of Demeter, Godess of spring. She cares for the nature in the mortal realm, and her bells are silent. When an animal passea away, the bell on her staff jingles and leads her to them. She gives their spirit a bell, like their soul, and they pass to the afterlife.

Ingrid lives in a peaceful village with her father, grandmother, and blue jay who she calls "bee". Her village is a place where the air is crisp but the sun is always out, a place with a morning market that displays sweet smelling fruit and colorful clay toys. Most interestingly, her village is known for their bright red flowers found in the forest's thicket. It's said that whoever picks the flower is granted either a story from the past or a prediction of the future. One day, Ingrid stumbles upon one while playing with Bee. Completely starstruck, she picks the flower and, with Bee peeking curiously over her shoulder, she requests a prediction. Ingrid is swept into a beautiful scene: Parades fill village paths with vibrant confetti falling from the sky. People dance and sing and eat delicious food. Suddenly, the vision takes a turn and Ingrid watches as the people, food, music, and color drain. She's left with a dull, grey picture- nothing but abandoned buildings and whistling wind. She hears the faint sound of her people's war horn in the distance and then, just like that, she's back in reality.

Maybe Rid lives in a tiny little village on the side of a mountain with her people. She could be a collector who travels to far off lands and then brings back the items she finds and sells them at the market. It's just an idea. Oh and also it could be like Harry Potter/ Pokemon. When your old enough you go to some kind of meadow or valley and you pick an animal that suits you best. It could be a from a little mouse to a dragon. She picked the Blue Jay

I think Ingrid should be the guardian of a meadow or mountainside. She could defend herds of sheep and goats from monstrous wolves by pounding her staff on the ground. Her bell would ring and cast a golden shield around the animals, which would knock the wolves away like a sonic wave.

I'm thinking she's a traveling healer, who offers her medicine to those in need. Her little friend travels the sky to find those off of the main paths, and to warn her of danger. It's been that way since she healed him a few years ago. Her temper is very calm and mild, and to many she seems naive. However, she is very strong, she has to be to protect her patience from danger. I'm imagining her to be around 4 feet tall, and light on her feet. Her family lives in the mountains near the peek and their culture is very different than that of the rest of the world. Her piercing on her ear is her status within the clan. If I think of anything more I'll add it. But wow, is she cute! I love your art so much ❤️ Her braids tell those in her clan what her job is, and many other things (you know like the fandom theory for dwarrow in the Hobbit and Lotr)

Hello I loved the character you made today, I have a tip for you for your pallet. I have one just like it and the paints used to bead up on mine as well. If you get an old tooth brush and some scouring powder that people use to clean the sinks with .. like comet or barkeepers friend and scrub your mixing tray part of your paint pallet with the powder and very little water with the tooth brush .. really scrub it good for a few minutes .. then rinse it off and dry it .. when you go to mix your paints on it they will stay smooth on the mixing part and you can get a good idea how they will look when applied to your paper as the mixing pallet is white like the paper .. I hope you try it on your next painting with that pallet. Also you have some beautiful blue paint and a few very nice Yellow and quin gold and another in the yellow family I forget now .. but if you try mixing some of the yellow and blue I think it will blow you away how many beautiful greens you can make with that pallet. Blue birds are the tattle tale of the woods, when ever I am walking in the woods the blue birds always go out in front of me squawking to the other wild life that a human is in the woods. So your druid goat girl could have a spy that tells her what is going on all over the forest she is living in.

I feel like she used to be a little girl who got lost in the forest, alone and hungry for many days, she wandered the forest. While she was looking for food, and maybe a way to civilization, she happened upon a hurt bluejay. Despite being hungry, and cold, and scared, she took time to help the Bluejay into a tree, and gift him some berries so he could feel better. The bluejay recognized that she would not survive on her own, and because of her kindness, gifted her with the blessing of the forest. This blessing helped her adapt quickly to the forest, giving her a keen nose and sense of smell. Large ears to hear well with, and hooves to be agile and swift even in dense underbrush. She and the bluejay grew to be friends, as the bluejay showed her the ways of the forest, and she learned how to survive, and be able to spread her kindness to all creatures.
