Sounds like your playing style shines through no matter what overdrive you use. Or you use them in a particular way that has consistent results. Which is excellent. However, there is a universe of timbre and tone to explore by using overdrives (and other gear it stacks with) in other ways. And that’s nothing to sneeze at.

Your rig or your ears or both must not function very well. I can sometimes tell the difference between 2 of the same OD pedals because of value differences/different components.
