22:21 You don't need food, you need luxuries as you people are unhappy. At 22:32 You can see your farm produces only 1 food out of 5, because they are unhappy. Not only that you lose things in ALL work places. 9 Food 3 hammers and 2 gold per turn is lost in the city because they are unhappy, so one more food on a farm is wasted.

Wow, seeing Yogcast sponsoring content for another channel is something I'd never see after watching them for 15 years. Also, this looks like a great take on the 4x Strategy genre, while I'm not a deck builder fan this looks really interesting. Civilization for kids methinks, lol.

I've put about 10 hours into this game and have zero complaints. Really great game if you already like the 4X genre. Looking forward to seeing if it has the depth to keep me around for awhile.

You can quickly see how fluid the game plays. So many decisions every turn. Impossible to play the same twice. It would take a lot of hours to boil down a meta strategy. This is why card games entertained us all for 100's of years.

Ah yes, the chain of memories of civ games (Kingdom Hearts fans will understand). I wish there was a more sandbox option for city building. I really like the system this game has, but it's focus is less about building up cities and pushing military with how fast pace it is. My favorite part of civ is city planning and building, so I hope maybe a mod or something will come one day to let me do that.

Maps are randomly generated and you can set the size to have more or less space. It reaches into Napoleonic era, since the pace of the game is so fast, the game usually ends by then anyways. Additionally, it is often smart to burn technologies to thin out your deck but that also locks you out of that part of the technology tree for the rest of the game, which is balanced by the tree being broad but not long. Multiplayer matches usually don’t last longer than an hour and use simultaneous turns.
