Guts Season 5 Scoring: Base Points: 1st place: 4 2nd place: 2 3rd place: 0 Bonus Leaderboard Points: 1st place (Run the Board): If the contestant who came in 1st came in 1st place on every event throughout the episode including the Crag, they get +1 point. 2nd place (Never Last): If the contestant who came in 2nd never came in 3rd place on any event including the Crag, they get +1 point. 3rd place (Broke 1000): If the contestant who came in 3rd got more than 1000 points by the end of the episode, they get +1 point. Shoot your Shot Point: At the end of the 1st event, every team chooses what they think their contestant will place in the 3rd event. This is unrelated to the total scores and is only concerned with the result of this specific 3rd event. If the team correctly chooses the result of their contestant in this event, they get +1 point. Took me awhile to piece this altogether since this was never properly documented anywhere, but hope this helps!

All-Time Event Leaderboard Update!!! Note: Spirals, used to have a pyramid of tires kids would throw threw. It was changed to a single tire and scores increased. S03 was the last we saw this event and the single tire format has been kept but it appears to be raised higher and affixed differently, but all-time records will honor this subtle change. Chris, Brian, AND Mandy set all-time marks today!!!! The previous best was 7 in S03E07 by Drew. So Drew is 3rd with Mandy at 7. Brian now holds 2nd all-time with 8, and Chris with 10 is the new Spirals all-time leader! 👏 👏 For Over The Top, since so many kids get 7’ 5” I’ll list their name but I’m only really highlight the athletes who reach 8’ 1” b/c it’s rare. So Brian and Mandy tied the multiple kids who got 7’ 5”. But Chris has tied for first all-time with Jen S03E05, Oliver “Jake is a big fan of this contestant”, and Heather the original first in this event “This tv game show should not be as hard…”.

Like Joez, I kept trying to figure out that kid's accent but it's quite possible he just has a speech impediment, specifically rhotacism. There's a professional poker player whose Rs sound more like Ls. So a word like "sore" will sound like "sole," or "over" sounds like "oval." If the R is early in the word, he more or less glosses over it - e.g. "friend" sounds more like "fwend" or even "fend." What's tough is that his last name is Brewer, which means he probably says his own name like it's "bwew-ull." Anyway, plenty of poker fans are often surprised to learn that Chris Brewer is from the U.S. because his impediment makes it sound like an accent of some kind.

Got a great idea for you guys, instead of drafting each person gets a certain amount of theoretical money like a fantasy auction draft, you’d get a certain amount for a season and you have to bid against each other for the start of each episode, can also trade auction dollars during the game

During the rules vlog y'all mentioned bonus points like mario party. you should have a hat or bowl full of possible end game bonuses that get pulled after the aggro crag that goes back and rewards specific achievements like the end game mario party bonus stars. things like never finish last, multiple 2nd place (mediocrity), win first event, win the crag, most penalties/disqualifications, etc. if you had a bowl with like 10-15 achievements, then randomly pick 3 at the end of each game. some might get rewarded to multiple people, some might get nobody.

Then they'd have to fast forward through the episode to find them and that puts too much of a risk for them to see the scoreboard or who won the last event before spill your guts. Unless they had a third party do it before each episode and give them screenshots or something
