George Yeo is easily the best analyst of China outside of China. I’ve followed him since before he was foreign minister of Singapore, when I was living there. That country is so blessed to have ministers who care about their country and by extension the lands around it. And to keep them safe.

Admiring his insight and analysis but listening intently he sound as if he is speaking favourably on behalf of the CCP. Understandably as Singaporean there is vested interested to promote CCP politics when Singapore leaders are unable to openly defile the US to win favour of China for survival where China has shown they are tightening the noose on Singapore but supporting economic progress of its neighbours with the option to destabilize the ruling PAP party at the slightest displeasure of CCP which US will not render help as PAP leaders have lost favour of US leaders.

There is absolutely nothing wrong for supporting or leaning on the CPC (not CCP) because countries or regions that follow China most likely will succeed and rise. At the same time, countries and regions that follow the US, most likely will fail and fall. It is the responsibility of the governments to make wise decision for the benefits of the country and not for the benefits of some personal gains.

Singapore buy expensive F35 from US. She also buy submarine from Germany. Her SAF trained in ROC, Brunei, Australia, India, etc etc. Singapore is the larges investor in China. She also send her military planes to provide humanitarian aids to GAZA. She was the first to respond to Sumatra 2004 tsunami. just to name a few that I remembered. So care to share which part Singapore isn't neutral.

Singapore passport is ranked top in the world as such it allows the citizens to travel to more destinations visa-free compared to other countries. Thus this shows that Singapore is neutral.
