Stevie Nicks is the only woman to be inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice. She is a fabulous singer song writer. They have been around for a very long time I saw Fleetwood Mac in the 70's and have seen Stevie many times as a solo artist. She has sung a lot of great songs. You should delve into their music. It is worth a listen.

Stevie Nicks is one of the greatest singers ever. Was inducted twice into the Hall of Fame. Once with FM other by herself as a solo artist had great songs in the 80s. The gentleman next to her is Lindsey Buckingham. Great voice & great guitarist. RHIANNON in 76 Midnight Special video really shows her as a rock star she was on 🔥 FIRE! Worth reacting to and doesn't get blocked.You have good musical taste.

hello my favourite baby girl 😘 Another lovely reaction to a classic song from the album "Rumours" - one of the best-selling albums of all time. Most of the songs on the album were written in the aftermath of relationship break-ups of some of the band members (there were two couples in the band), so the lyrics somewhat refer to this. Am happy you eventually managed to get this posted! 👍 And always wonderful to see your gorgeous smile!😊 Much love 🥰💖🥰

I was a lifeguard at a resident camp on an Island in the Pacific Northwest USA when this album was popular. All the staff were between 16 and 22, and those of us not in charge of kids for the night would gather at a staffer's cabin, crank the tunes and dance the night away. A time of youthful hopes and dreams, Thanks Mo for bringing back a great memory.

Fleetwood Mac has had three distinct phases. They began as a blues band fronted by Peter Green, became the "thinking man's rock band" fronted by Bob Welch, and then evolved into the pop mega-band reflected in this video fronted by singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. (Buckingham no longer plays with the band.) All three phases of the band have produced interesting music. For contrast, you might listen to the song 'Oh Well' by the Peter Green version of Fleetwood Mac. BTW, the name Fleetwood Mac is derived from the names of drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie, who have been the heart of the band since it started.

The Buckingham-Nicks team were a gold discovery by Mick Fleetwood, looking to save the band from extinction. But the combination of voices - from Stevie Nicks rasp, through Lindsey Buckingham's drawl, to keyboardist Christine Mcvie's soft English tone - quickly changed their fortunes. Gifted in all directions and in the middle of multiple relationship breakdowns, the band's greatest album became a runaway success and one of the biggest selling rock LP's of all time.

I have to say you’re doing an excellent job of taking a tour through classic 70s and 80s hits. This is from the brilliant album Rumours - you should really check it out - absolutely full to bursting with superb songs. Most were inspired by the relationship travails of band members. Dreams was a not so subtle dig by Stevie Nicks (the singer) at Lindsey Buckingham her erstwhile boyfriend and fellow band member. Hence the line ‘players only love you when they’re playing.’ So you see break up songs can be just as beautiful as love songs. If I ever write a beautiful love song about you I’ll write an even better one when you dump me!
@MorenikejiTaiwo2 жыл бұрын
