I think every year we get a new "How the PvZ Franchise Died!" video that holds these characteristics or says these things: EA ruined PvZ, EA added microtransactions, PvZ2 is P2W, PvZ Heroes gets forgotten. Also, when the guy is talking about the PvZ shooter games; he is completely wrong. I think making the shooters introduced more people to the franchise, and I think GW2 is probably the most liked PvZ game.

5:45 imo PvZ1 is really slow and combined with the repetition, it is really boring. With PvZ2's post-2014 update, it mixes Brain Busters with regular levels so that there is some variation and thus it makes the game more exciting.

@@Justcommentinhere I think they have never been there when worlds were being released left and right, because when Far Future was released, it was released in one part. Dark Ages was the first to not only be released in two parts, but not in 25 levels nor is the Gargantuar level at Day (or in this case Night 8). Big Wave Beach was the first to have more than 25 levels and is the only one to include water etc...the worlds are pretty variated and most of the worlds have exclusive Brain Busters (e.g. Pirate Seas, Wild West, Far Future,...)

To be honest, it's really PopCap's fault for dragging the franchise down. EA simply bought PopCap and acted as its publisher. It was PopCap's idea of adding microtransactions in PvZ2 and probably the seed packet grinding in Arena too. Who knows, maybe PopCap decided to remove lawnmowers so that we have to pay or watch ads to get our lawnmowers back. EA may took part but PopCap is directly responsible for the franchise's downward spiral.
