Its a bit under appreciated - But, Zyonik is such a good battle shoutcaster - He can hold your attention throughout a battle which can't be said for the rest. Hope he kills more in the watchtimes😃

@SkullZStream totally agreed! Doing pvp for more than 5 years now and still no clue about the basics of the game mechanics 😂😂😂 but obviously his viewers are not smart enough to realize how Z sucks as a gamer 🤪

Lol that skarmory with flash cannon match.. energy ball was the lose con though, double resist vs acrobatics single. Acro wouldve taken the skar down. Tried this team and got an instant 5-0 with the sludge bomb drapion. GG

The other day i shielded a skarm flash cannon against my carbink after thinking hard about it and felt like i saw a ghost. Actually really love showing more losses in the vids, the learning opportunities feel really valuable!

Sorry, bit of a n00b here… but when you say ‘proper’ timing, what does that mean? And how does one go about learning it?

@@FISHFACEmatt”proper timing” refers to throwing a charge move at a time that maximizes your energy gain while minimizing theirs. Different fast moves have different turn durations and depending on both yours and their moves you can throw on certain counts that will allow you to min/max energy gained and allowed. I’d recommend checking out ItsAXN’s video series on charge move timing and you can also check out other content creators’ videos on move counting as well because you also want to throw towards the end of the opponent’s fast move animation. It def takes a while to master and I certainly have not lol

One pokemon I've been loving is shadow meganium. It cleanly wins all evens vs clodsire straight frenzy plant while completely dominating all the mud boys. It has neutral play into malamar and the fighters and EQ coverage is great for steels and poisons. SS dewgong and toxapex to close. Note: the plan against a-slash is to lose, but I have stolen a few wins against a-slash teams since they're usually double weak to meganium in the back

I actually use SB aqua tail Drapion myself and it has helped me a lot more than having to use crunch on it

I’ve just been using SB and Crunch due to a charged/elite charged TM shortage. I agree with you that just having SB has helped immensely. People just don’t see it coming.

If you use a shadow drape crunch and aqua tail usually still beats fairy

I just tried this team and honestly I agree with you. Both matches were against lead Azumarill and they ended up swapping out at some point and it would've helped a lot to have Sludge Bomb when Drapiaon ended up vs Azumarill. I want to use Aurorus but this team didn't seem to be working well for me. One of the two team I battled had Mawile with Fire Fang which destroyed me completely

@@Zallen25 yeah seeing how fairy types are a lot more common now I just figured using SB made a lot more sense since you would otherwise be kinda walled by them especially against Azumarill but I also understand why you would need to run crunch instead

@zyonik awesome team suggestion that I'm sure you already thought of, but Shadow Gallade lead, Dewgong/Walrein safe swap, and Bastiodon closer. Been working really well for me so far.

With drapion u want sludge bomb crunch on the non shadow aqua tail ctunch on the shadow... never drop crunch it's a mistake

also, regarding the sludge bomb talk: why not crunch SB? crunch in my opinion is too valuable to give up for the dark type coverage, especially against things like alolan Sandslash and Toxapex

Such a tough toss up, because Bastiodon becomes a major threat without Aqua Tail.

@@ZyoniK with the Smack down nerf, I do expect there to be less of it. And as long as bastiodon isnt on aurorus, it should be fine as you can still Hit it neutrally with Crunch or Energy Ball

Drapion is such a zany mon to use. I run Ice Fang/Sludge Bomb on mine. Go figure.

Maybe I'm not a good battler, but I got absolutely destroyed using this team by Steel, fire, and charmers esp. Alolan Ninetales 2-5 before I gave up although I did lag one loss, and I got a lot of good leads.

Change Drapion for Swalot, you have to see LetMeCookGranny busting out Clod, Swamp and others with Stunk, Swalot and a normal tanky.

let's be real, you lost with the swap at 11:02. it's not the flash cannon that killed you, it was the lack of double super-effective and still recommended steel wing on skarmory that gave you false hope.
