Sure it looks like a new part, shiny, lined up, that looks right. I want to see it on the vehicle working the way it should, but they NEVER show that.

In ignorance there is bliss, he's blissful, but remember it stated he's showing how to repair a part as done in a method he he described, basically he's promoting a repair style he developed. I personally would send him a dozen center drills and spotting drills.

That gear was cut not broken. Worst welder in Pakistan. You can't stick weld forged steel and use it for anything but a door stop. It would fall apart in a few hours of work.

Well, it looks very much like the gear was purposely cut, and then with the grinding, the tooth pitch was ruined as the gear became slightly elliptical..

WTF is a pitch circle?? I know,, its total BS! Pitch circle my ass. That part will last for ever. I have been in industrial maintenance for 25 years and I have never heard of "PITCH CIRCLE" The pitch of the teeth have not been effected at all!!! These guys do some fabulous work!!

Mann kann es einfacher und präziser machen. 😊 mit den Bolzen wird es schwächer. Die Schrauben Löcher sind gute Führung. Einfach ein Ring drehen und zusammen verschrauben. Etwas anschfeißen! Rest ist euch bekannt!

Well there you have it, another absolutely disgusting abysmal repair that will fail in 5 minutes. It's not concentric, the span measurement across the teeth is inconsistent and the hardness is now completely messed up from the welding. Throw it away.

What about heat treatment of the teeth? What material is this wheel made of? Do you think the heat affected zone does not change the impact resistance of the material?

The hardness is now messed up from the welding heat, but that's only part of the problem, there's plenty more.

Another staged "expertly" made repair of a part that is not shown how quickly the "repair" fell apart. It's funny the channel is named "CNC master" CNC stand for Computer Numerical Control, there's no computers, numerical or any kind of control, lol. And by "new method" they should state "how not to fix..."

Désolé, à lire votre commentaire, s'approuve que vous ne connaissez rien en conception mécanique, d'abord la pièce a été sciemment coupée pour en faire un sujet. Le fait de nettoyer les axes de cette pièce avec une meule, ne laisse comprendre que ce tourneur n'a aucune notion en mécanique.

These "training" video's get old, fast. Either way, that final result was... no. Those holes were smaller than the original and if this was to be used, the gear could shake itself apart due to being dangerously off balance. The teeth? Meh, I've seen worse.
