You need to make grooves for welding lathe shaved the weld ----^---- lathe no weld -------- ---- v ---- the groove will be filled by welding then lathe -----v-----

Sketchy. He annealed the shaft to make it soft enough for the tool to machine it but never re hardened it......... cash the check quick!

Everything is fine except for harding ,this type of drive shaft takes high torque, and the harding must be maintained

Noto (ancora) che in alcuni paesi è completamente sconosciuto il trattamento termico dei materiali e degli acciai in particolare,quel pezzo durerà pochissimo,ma non ha importanza,l'importante è farsi pagare per un lavoro inutile... 😱😱😱😧
