"It won't always be like this." That really hit me. Our older daughter is 23 and about to graduate college (she is living with us through college). Our younger daughter is 20 and in her first year of college (also living with us through college; she graduated high school last year when she was 19 because she has special needs). I dread them ever leaving home, though I know it will happen. I try to look at them and listen to them extra hard. Our boys are 17 and 7. I hate being past the season of having very small children. I get super depressed about being done having babies. I'm trying to cherish these moments and stages. I turned 40 a few weeks ago. It actually made me feel awesome instead of old. But I still grieve for the having young kids stage. Christine, you made me cry. I love you. Your channel is the very first I watched on KZbin. Someone in a FB budgeting group suggested your channel and eventually I watched it. The first I watched was of you making breakfast sandwiches homemade and comparing the prices to the frozen breakfast sandwiches. I have watched you since. I'm so glad you're okay. Sending you all the hugs and all the prayers.

Christine, I cry listening your experience at the Dr office "Did I love enough" I hear this podcast while I was pushing a stroller and walking a 🐕, enter in the apartment with my baby sleeping on arms and just look at the sofa full of clean laundry, put the baby down and he just woke up. And at that moment I hear "It's not will always be like that" THANK YOU!!! OMG I love my boys, my life...some people said better time will come...but what if I'm living the good times just now?!

I hear the tick tick too. I remember when my girls were 4,2,1. Now my oldest is 19 doing college from home in her first year , planning to go off for the last two years. This lines up with my second daughter graduating and no way she will stay home😅. So, two at once plus the third only one year behind. Bing! Bang! Boom! Just like they came into the world. I’ve been doing more faith strengthening, learning, etc to prepare.

I too always hated putting away the laundry! And then I had an observation. The stuff that I had just washed was what I wore that week. But yet my drawers and closet were still so full it made it difficult to put the clean stuff back in. I decided to take half of what was not yet worn out And put it inside. If I needed it I would grab it and put it back in my rotation. After 6 weeks I realized I didn't need it. And donated it. Putting away the laundry is much easier now!

I see so many people be so dramatic about laundry and I can not understand how it's a hard task. I work full time and have no issues getting it done. Usually I wash a load when I wake up, then throw it in the dryer on my way out the door. Get home and unload it. Done!

Such a great conversation but I wish you could have talked longer about your health scare and if you are making changes going forward in how you live. My daughter also is on her way to leaving for college and I teared up when you mentioned your daughter. Completely feel the same. So excited for her and her future but love her so much that I can't imagine her not being here all the time.

I have a great relationship with my now 27 year old daughter. She only lives 30 mins away, but I still don’t see her that much because she’s busy living her life. I miss the day-to-day interaction of her living at home. I guess I just miss her, period, and cherish our times together all the more!

Christine I just LOVE YOUR POD! Your topics are always interesting and I also love when Dave is on. Y’all are a great couple. This is a fantastic interview. I’ve been subbed to Mary Beth for years and didn’t even know the adoption story, ❤❤ just got to the lesion on your hip. I hope you are going to be ok girl!!!! I had a scare like that once. The radiologist made it sound like I had ovarian cancer and I was 30. Ugh. Drs sometimes just don’t say the right thing.
