If you HAD to guess.. Roughly how much did switching to electric fans HELP MPG or gas milage in city driving? I'm guessing it HAD to have helped some

I was hoping to see some gains but unfortunately the fan conversion coincided with other changes, upstream O2 sensor failure, roof rack installation, and lots of short trips carrying large, heavy, loads of construction materials so I really can't say.

Were the hoses hard to find? Looks like a sweet setup for sure. My disco runs a bit warm when it is hot outside.

The hoses are stock replacements, readily available. I simply cut the top hose to fit the sight glass.

Any issues getting the oil/trans cooler lines to connect? Seen some bad reviews on these radiators and thought I would ask!

The adapters I used were Atlantic British ESR1262G. I"m back to using a rebuilt stock radiator (with these same electric fans) after finding a crack in the aluminum one.

@@TheSaltedDog I was afraid of both of those things.. Needing Adapters or the Rad cracking.. MANY thanks for the comment back, I think I will get my Stock Rad rebuilt instead. Adapters are pricy here in US! OH and to 'help' back if you didnt know. The front AC fans can be replaced with a 96 Toyota Corolla fan motor for cheap. Bolts right in, and they BLOW like a Mofo. Gets to 120 F here in AZ so I need all the cooling I can get! Stock rad never let me down tho!
