I guess it is not necessarily an apology, as whoever is doing this most likely has an agenda rather than jealousy - as it is obvious he is a good man with great knowledge of martial arts etc. I would say it is more for clarity/evidence to prevent things escalating in a negative manner so probably a wise thing to do in hindsight with open and honest communication

I have been following Master Shi for quite a while online. However, I am looking forward to visiting him in person and with the good news of having Shaolin Kung Fu formalized as an education system (as argued in the video), and of course, thanks to the efforts that have been made to spread and develop Shaolin Kung Fu both as an art and philosophy into the corners of the world. Indeed it is not only a combative art but after all a philosophy and spiritual practice, which is very much needed in our increasingly chaotic and distractive time. My life had come to a stand still. Plus all the negative in the world was taking me deeper and deeper into its grip. I keep in very good shape each day. But I have been losing my happiness. Being alone Xmas morning made me think about what I am lacking in my life. As I was walking my dog lost in deep thought. I guess I slipped very fast and hard. The next thing I knew was my dog was in my face. I realized I was lying on the ground. I was in severe pain . Some how I walked home. For the next couple of days I couldn't breathe or move good. That is when our path crossed. In pain I tried your exercise. To make things short. You opened my eyes to what I was lacking in my life. 2022 left with great pain. Now 2023 has started me on a path to my inner happiness. I know I am over 70 , but still want to take the journey in your wisdom and lifestyle.

Thanks once again for another of your always enlightening and inspiring videos. I have been studying the Martial Arts for several decades now and of late have been amassing a collection of your videos ands studying several of them and am constantly impressed with your style and grace of movement. This new system that you have introduced here is very interesting. I have studied various forms of Shaolin Martial Arts , Tai Chi , and Qigong and found relief from various physical ailments that have plagued me over the years. Some of which traditional doctors have failed to be able to identify, and or diagnose. Keep the good work , and going forward into this next year I hope that you find all of the personal and professional, and spiritual growth that you seek from what seems to be some new directions of both teaching and personal enlightenment for you. As Io watch you working with your students I am so impressed with the way you interact with them. It reminds me of various Sifu's I have worked with over the years. One of which is no longer with us on this earth, God rest his soul. I see a lot of him in you and dedicate all of my training to his memory. I have studied many of the systems that you have presented in your videos and and particularly drawn to the 13 Luohan Form.
