A new way to TAG a gift! Necessity is the mother of invention even in crafting!

Oh no...my bows!!!! You spend all that time making the perfect bow on the gift, to only find it squashed flat by Christmas day!
What can we do to still have beautiful packages, know who the present is for, and no crushed bows???
Tags with ribbon!! That's it!
Maymay shows us her gorgeous easy to make tags that will have those gifts looking amazing again!
So gather up the supplies and let's create!
~~Measurements~~
Tag base: Cut pattern paper to 5 3/4" x 2 1/2"
Name plate: cut white cardstock to 2" x 3"
Paper ribbon strips: cut pattern or solid color paper to 1 1/8" to the length you desire
Ribbon: cut the length to fit the package you are wrapping

Haha...May May.....this year each person 's packages are wrapped in one paper....so the little kids know that the box is for them if it has a certain paper wrapping it....so, when they can't read the tag...they can see what boxes belong to them! I have paper from Costco so it is two sided....very good quality too!

I am that person. I wrap my gifts so that all the present going to one person is in one paper and presents for another are in a different paper, so that I know what pile goes to who even if I didn't have tags. So this would go along with that! Awesome, thanks

I just wanted to tell you that I put your videos on just for a crafting soundtrack when I'm working. Your videos are so pleasant and I absolutely adore you for keeping your crafting tutorials separate from your product info. So many videos now a days are just sales pitches for product. Love these. My sister likes tags with the to from on the front so she can stick them on the package, so this is perfect. One year I wrapped my 2 step children's gift all in the same paper....his all the same and all of hers in a different paper with not tags. I didn't tell them which paper belong to who. It drove them crazy. Christmas morning I gave them the first gift and they then knew which gifts to grab under the tree. They talked about it the whole year. My step son is not with us any longer, he was killed in an accident so it makes for sweet memories. Thank you Maymay!!🎄💝

Thanks Maymay! For my front of card greeting labels that are already stamped with “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Birthday” or whatever, I will often use my texture folders on all or part of them. It’s an easy way to make them fancier and it doesn’t distort the words. This really helps when the paper may be on the thinner side and not edge embossed. And more and more, I’m raising my greetings with foam squares. I think it makes such a difference, especially on a plainer card.
