I know this video is about 3d printing but since it's your freshest posting I wanted to post my comment here. I'd like to thank you for rekindling my mini painting fire. I've been painting minis off and on with sometimes years in-between since I was a child in the late 70's and inspite of that i still consider myself a painting noob. With the advent of the internet and youtube specifically I found myself getting bogged down over the years by the overwhelming amount of "beginner" videos posted by countless talented mini painters like yourself. I failed in my own mind to live up to the kinds of standards that I was seeing put forth by the artists here and I became extremely discouraged. After stumbling upon your channel I found your easy going, painting for the sheer enjoyment of it, not trying to live up to anyone else's expectations, style of presentation resonated with me instantly. So much so that I went out and purchased both contrast and speed paints and utilizing the slap chop method that you display so adroitly on your channel have rediscovered my joy of painting miniatures. Thank you for this and keep up the great work. 👍

Since day one of printing. I've always washed in my wash and cure with supports and then cleaned the model with warm water. Makes removing the supports so easy. Then dry and cure. Gives much less sanding

Love your videos. I got an anycubic photon mono 4k. I haven't used it yet, as I'm a bit scared of getting things wrong. Watching this has encouraged me to just give it a try.

Do you not need some sort of fancy ventilation or filter masks for working with resin? I'm a noob (hence enjoying this video :) ) and I thought the resin printers were a bit more finicky to use - i.e. not being able to just bung them on a table in the corner. Keep up the great work, thanks!

Yeah you need a room with a window . But I recently got the saturn 8k and it has a charcoal purifier in it , so it doesn't smell anymore , but I still have it in a room with a window , also you need gloves and glasses . Ipa to clean prints .

Thanks for the upload. Been getting so tempted to get one of these. Only thing putting me off is reading all the stuff about the smell and toxic fumes. Sadly, i don't have the space for a dedicated hobby room so still unsure. Could get a small filament printer but don't think they produce miniatures as high quality as a resin printer.

You should definitely be wearing a mask and gloves, dangerous to not. Even if you think you won't spill the bottle what happens if it slips or theres a chunk in it and it splashes/ dribbles over the lip?

Differences in luck: You get sent multiple Anycubic printers for free.. I start saving up for one after seeing in your vids, and then when I am close "life" happens and there goes my money to medical bills.
