Any idea why your videos don't work on the KZbin app on my TV? Audio continues but it stays on one image. I've legit only had this problem with your vids 😢
@viedogaems18 күн бұрын
All I can think of is changing the quality. Sometimes the YT video winds up supporting quality above what I exported - but I'm far from an expert at troubleshooting this sort of thing. On the bright side, if the audio still works that's about 90% of the experience preserved.

I can’t believe it’s been over a decade since we lost him. It still feels like yesterday. I miss him and EOM, crazy irreplaceable brains that thought so far out of the box with their musical craft it inspires us to this day. Nice work, sucks you couldn’t include any music.

This is one of my very favorite anime ever; I first watched it right after my best friend of 20 years passed away, and the similarities between he and Mugen and Jin and I and the weird friendship that we had really endeared me to the show. Even without that connection it's an amazing show and I consider it a must watch for any anime fan.

fantastic video for a fantastic anime. I really enjoyed listening to you dig in and analyze things so deeply and the research on further context. Getting to hear things broken down like "the show isn't about famous, powerful celebrities or historical figures, but about regular people" and "Fuu is able to befriend fellow victims and the underprivileged everywhere she goes" and "Mugen thinks that because nothing matters, what he does is all that matters" made me emotional all over again as if I was rewatching the show itself. thanks

That is one of the funniest things about 'don't make a fuss' cultures. In my head I put at the end '...while the men rain literal hell'. 'Let the devil have its way as long as it means peace' is another good one. Really puts the 'moron' in oxymoron.
@viedogaems19 күн бұрын
A really good take on 'don't make a fuss' comes from Persona 5 - where the whole story is told from the perspective of people who are overlooked or mistreated. The characters depict themselves as outlaws purely for the crime of having self-respect.

Pretty sure mugen left his childhood friend alive, not out of his respect but knowing she has to live with what she did now alone. Also best anime :D , i mean it its really great yet fun and so, deep too. And so emotional, the music being perfect too. Bu also really good yet not too unrealistic swordfights Also really good commentary, like kariya is wrong, Jin has a lot in princople wit hthe yankee dude, and he is and idealist and foolish and does not mindless follow orders Even more as its implied his master did want to be killed by him to not have his pupils gone after and Jin get away. And pretty sure the ending is them finding closure and having to face their past that caught up to them, literally. And they do. And they findthe strengh and company and supprt to become friends, and want to live. And move on. Which all three do. And Jin and mugen could be dead or not, i prefer not. They symbolic reborn just fits better. And pretty sure is the same as knight, did that noble ever existed realistic, but doest stop finding value in fighting to find your sense of nobility to stand up to injustice, if it needs a sense of adapting to the world and not just start fights. , so if i wpould transalate that to japan, which samurrai are close enough, yeah it see as explring that theme realistic yet its good to have values and make your way.

I want to point out that while Nujabes is a great artist and contributor of the Samurai Champloo’s OST, he wasn’t the sole contributor. Fat Jon, Tsutchie, and Force of Nature were also providing amazing tracks of there’s as well. It’s great that people are giving Nujabes flowers, but you gotta give Fat Jon, Tsuchie, and Force of Nature flowers as well for their contributions and amazing tracks.
@viedogaems10 күн бұрын
I mentioned them in the original script but took the other names out in editing since I didn't make any real deep cut comparisons in the way I did Nujabes. But you're absolutely right about that!

One Punch Man is my favorite anime but this and Cowboy Bebop were probably the best gateways to interest people in the 2000's.
@viedogaems19 күн бұрын
That Toonami/Adult Swim lineup was actually the perfect gateway to get people into anime. Death Note specifically dispelled so many stereotypes about the medium for people who dismissed anime as a low-brow genre for kids.
