Sheldon isn’t gay in the show. His actor is, yes, but the character isn’t. He’d probably be considered demisexual, which is someone who only feels sexual attraction when they have a very strong mental/emotional bond. Also sexuality and slavery aren’t coordinated in any way, as far as I am aware, at least not in history.

Its crazy how the writers decided to joke about slavery, with a laugh track, on a show that had literally no black characters. Only one I can think of is the therapist I think at the university. And that was more towards the end. Truly the modern Seinfeld, if Seinfeld wasn't funny, and decided to make Jewish actors play Christians, and then continuously rip on Jewish people.

Seinfeld is the worst TV show to ever exist. It was unfunny and not a single character was even a little likable. At least, here even if you don't get the jokes, the characters are endearing. The ending of this series is better also than Seinfeld's. I can't believe you even tried comparing the two. I don't know why you have a problem with Jewish actors playing Christians since the actors themselves obviously didn't have a problem with it.

They make fun of cripples (hawking) the make fun of old people (professor proton) they make fun about Jews (Howard) they markeren about Indians (Raj) they make fun of Christian’s (Sheldon’s mom) they make fun of smart people and stupid people (the entire TBBT series) they make fun about Asians (the Chinese restaurant) they make fun of NASA and the US army (national pride) and yet the one thing that happens 200 years ago is the one you find crazy to joke about. You also forget that they put international celebrities in the picture like James Earl Jones, Neil Degrasse Tyson and Levar burton (the guy frikkin played in the movie Roots) and I’m probably forgetting a lot of people.
