In those years their was no Karen and less stupid people ... Now, even business doesn'T care and want the customer doing their own service and stuff. Just imagine the new slogan for those business to tell the customer just RFM (read the F-cking manual) no person can better served you than yourself !!! I've bought a BBQ grill at walmart .. the cashier supervisor (cause you bag your own stuff but they watch you with front camera and a smelly person watched you to umiliate you if you struggle with the register 'cause they put scale and stuff just in case you stole stuff and if you got heavy bag it will systematically make an error) told me I just hope you don't live in a house with many step instead of calling help with someone to put it in my car trunk ... so i went to my car alone, try to put it my car's trunk, it doesn't fit, try to put it at the passenger place, doesn't fit ... So I open the freakin box to be able to make it fit. I've try to find an employee to give them the huge cardboard box but nobody care ... so I put the box in a caddy in the parking lot ... well, hope they will be please to get ride of that . I don't blame the employee, in the 80 and beginning of the 90's they use to pay the employee, give them insurance and stuff .. since the middle of the 90's, they gave them minimal wage and now no nothings ... they don't treat well there employee so the employee don't give a damn ... huge corporate better like to do profit than to giva a life quality to their most valuable ressources their employee ...

1:50 Heh, reminds me of myself in a way as I was shoehorned in the Deli despite my various pleas to my then immediate supervisor to work bakery and bakery only. I even got "oh, because you're so good at working counter" despite customer complaints. Apparently, despite my curt approach, I did get the job done unlike some...I finally made my escape from Kroger deli altogether and now am a happy third shift grocery man.
