But you ought to mention the competition: - Hive Lighting (25W, 50W, 100W and up; Source 4 and softlight modifiers, 5 or 6 color LED engine) - Prolycht Orion 300/650 and upcoming 80W Dedo light - Arri Orbiter (for pros/rental only given the price, but a very solid fixture) - Godox SZ150R (RGB), Aputure P600C Pro (RGBW), just to mention the most common ones.

Comparing to the rest of the Nanlite range. I've never used any of those other brands of lights, so I don't offer advice about products I've never used. That would be very misleading

Super cool, love that they went RGB-LAC instead of RGB-WW, way better tech if calibrated correctly. Had no idea this light was announced/released. Def putting 3 of these on my shopping list this later in the year.

In terms of any compeditor lights, there is nothing at that price range that compares. Just the Arri LC series, Orbiter, Fiilex Q series, in the ultra high budget range. And some really crumby RGB-WW ones from Yodibolo which are sub par colour quality in the lower price bracket.

Yeah i feel like RGB-LAC has future proofed the lights. They definitely aren't the cheapest, but for versatility and efficiency, they absolutely crush! Will definitely be a pivot for lighting technology moving forward

A $700 60w light. You'd be better off buying a Sokani for under $100 if you need color. It's a bit much for a 60w. Still cool.

When you did were using / testing this, were there any negatives, or things that bugged you, or could use improvement? I bought multiples of 3 Nanlite color products, and the color balance, drift, and lack of neutral color and horrible interfaces made me weary of this company.

Are you meaning colour shifts between the products? Not sure what you are meaning by lack of neutral colour? Interface works the same as all the other producst nanlite has released :)

​@@AndrewMurphyFilms My Pavotube IIc doesn't have tint control, and really needs it as it is really off in tint. My Litolite 5c have green edges in beam due to diode design, and they and my Pavotube II 6c are unusable below 30% due to extreme shift the lower you go, and many colors start disappearing, due to it losing tuning control to the point of just main colors available with no blending at lower intensities, and they cannot hit neutral due to being so course in controls, and not being neutral to begin with, that when you try to tune it correctly to neutral, it overshoots to the other side of tint. thsi is not small, it is glaringly obvious to even the untrained eye. This makes me very weary of them not being able to render neutral, or to do fine adjustments, or not being able to dim down low. Take a Pavotube IIc, current generation, and dim it down, compared to Aputure MC, and see how lo g=it can go , and how the color changes when you do that. that has me doubting other products they release, unless they made huge fundamental changes in the way they design and build products, and the components they use. As a gaffer, package truck, and small rental house owner and user, I have dozens of models of LED's, ranging form high end Arri L7c and KinoFlo Freestyle 41, through Luxli's, to Aputure almost every model , including Amaran, and I have never experienced such bad colors as in the Nanlite products.

@@AndrewMurphyFilms Thanks. So, to confirm, the Forza 60c was perfect, including dimming low with no color shift, and there were no improvements in operation or design or things that bugged you about it. It is a unique offering, and am considering it.
