With all due respect. What are you saying? If you think you're the one who knows about everyone's life experience, please start by being understanding of the message and the good it's doing to a large portion of the planet's inhabitants. If you think God is a mythical thing, it's your prerogative, and I agree that he won’t go to work for you or pay your mortgage. However; I hope you experience one day the genuine love and joy that Jesus has been trying to transmit for a few thousand years, Somehow, his message resonates and persists. You can't argue that. May God Bless you.

@@RichardChicoine-t8n I'm not sure if this was meant to be in reply to me or not... But what the hell... I'll bite. No. God, in whatever jacket he chooses to wear is not a product of good. Religion is a movement for control. Nothing more. The fact that you don't see that is a testament to how good and well constructed it is. It is the very basis of "Trust me, bro" and then there is the fact that you are encouraged to NOT think for yourself. Also... As a cult you are urged to stay insular and not be where the other people are. Don't listen to them, listen to me... They are evil, we are good. And religion manipulates you. The best example of that is Masturbation. Brilliant but of genius that was... Tell them that God always watches you and that touching yourself is evil and what the devil makes you do... So horny kids have to get married young so they can deal with the urges... And that makes them feel bad for COMPLETELY NATURAL URGES! Then when they are married they have loads of kids and they stay in the church because that is where the convenient babysitters are... And the education system... And the old guard that reinforce the insane rules. So brilliant. You couldn't make it up. And people take joy from it because of they don't then they will be cut off from their family and friends... And they will have to fight with internal issues about them being evil. All this from people wanting to seem clever over others who were simply afraid of the dark. Brilliant.

Hi Richard! In this clip, Pastor Phil shares how Jesus offers a peace that goes deeper than our circumstances. We fully understand we can’t know everyone’s unique journey, and we appreciate your blessings. Thanks for reaching out-if there’s anything you’d like us to clarify or any questions we can answer, we’re here to help!

@HopeCityyeg "Offers a peace that goes beyond our circumstances" What does that mean? Sounds like an empty platitude like "His reasons are unknown to us" and "God has a plan". It means nothing but is a great sidestep when questioned on reality. Basically "If you don't know, then I can't help you."

Hmmm... Ok. Can we have a talk about personal agency please? *HE* doesn't do those things... *YOU* do those things. Maybe you do it by talking to your friends and family... Maybe you do it by sitting and thinking on a subject. The fact is that, while you may WANT to believe it. Jesus does nothing. Take some pride and accept that YOU are the reason that you are in the position you are. Maybe others helped you, but unless you accept that help... You won't have it. Maybe tomorrow you will be the help someone else needs. That is a great thing... Be that person for someone else. Don't leave it to a mythical being to step in. Your friends didn't do it for you, don't do it to them.

So u don’t believe in Jesus Christ?
@Kalamain14 күн бұрын
@wisevx absolutely not... Not in the same way Christians do. I don't doubt that someone called Jesus (from Nazereth) existed at the time... But was he a demi-god? No. Such a claim is just ludicrous.
