@lawrencehamilton23452 ай бұрын
Those persimmon are sweet when they are a dark red orange and very soft. If you try them while they are still kind of hard they will taste bitter because they are not fully ripe.

Shalom Zae and Nae 👋🏾, How goes it Family? I think if You manage it right, the Idea of a Pond with a Crafted Stream or Overflow Current leading down to the Creek is a Very Real Possibility for and in that Area. 😇 You were/are RIGHT Zae, those are CHERRY PLUMS if I'm Not Mistaken. We had Several Trees in My Folks Yard growing up that Produced those Exact Fruit. 😁 DEEELICIOUS WERE/ARE THEY! 😋 Unfortunately, EVERYTHING & EVERYBODY HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE, and ONLY ONE PLUM TREE REMAINS from that Era and it's skipped bearing a Few Years now. 🙁 If You sit Plums like those You ate from the Tree in a Window (preferably a kitchen window) where they can get Ample Sunshine, they will Ripen pretty quickly and be ready for the Best Consumption in 2 or 3 Days. 🤗 As ALWAYS now don't cha know, KEEP AT IT FAMILY, You're Homestead is gonna be One for the Ages in due time...Barukings/Blessings! 🛐 APHGTTTMHYAH 👑

You can always collect and process your sumac and sell it in a farmer's market way. Once you know for sure what the tree/fruit is, you can always make jam/jelly or compote from it.

Yes you all have a pond ready to prepare and fill. Your wife needs some high rubber boots walking in there. She seems uncomfortable. Does she like country living. Such beautiful land with so much potential. Have you watched IAG Farms or Resurrection Ranch?

Yeah I use to watch them but he started talking about detailing his vehicle and going to the gym, it was to be all about God. When you have a farm that’s all the workout anyone should need and detailing vehicles cmon so I stop watching them

🤔 🤔🤔 “ All praises to the most high” Those Cedar trees 🌲 are Eastern Cedar trees and are not endemic/ indigenous to western and southern states. They are evasive and should be tightly managed. If not tightly managed they will in less than 10 years will take over that property. All those on your property look to be no older than 15-20 years old. It would be advisable to replace many of them with endemic hardwood trees and grazable grasses. If possible I suggest even doing a burn 🔥 of that area to kill the undergrowth and open the ground up to receive water like it should and all the beneficial grasses to start growing to feed your livestock. Side note. Y’all really shouldn’t be walking through there like that with out snake proof boots . Never know what hidden in tall grass and those thorns are giving the sister a hard time.
