What a beautiful place! I also love the openness and silence of the countryside, probably because it's close and noisy (traffic, etc.) where I live. It's only early June but I'm already looking forward to autumn when it'll be more outside-friendly. Enjoyed the video.

I have been reading about the heatwave in the UK, sounds like very non-English weather! As always a terrific video. You are so lucky to have such a beautiful countryside landscape close to home and also to be able to take such great shots. Amazing captures! In special the one at 7:30 mark... The warm colors with then a bit of blues in the distance, and elegant composition. Loved it! The work you put in your videos is awesome. I would never have the patience to set the camera for the video takes of before going through the gate, then another one from the other side, then still have time to get perfect composition with sunsetting for the photos. You are truly inspiring and master of your craft sir! And applauses too to the participants of the challenge! Gorgeous captures!

Lovely photos Ian, looks beautiful and peaceful up there as you said, what a fantastic day it seemed. I like. The backpack, I am a bit like you and would prefer to take my gear out from the back, I think it’s much safer that way too. I will have a wee look at the links about it, thank you. I know you use the Sunway Photo ll and the ll +. I have been waiting on the Sunwayphoto ll-+ for a long time. Should I just go with the ll? Were you happy with that one?
