I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist who works closely with OTs and I could definitely say that we would all approve of your toy choices! so good for promoting early language and fine motor skills!! Fun fact: play is one of the most researched topic when it comes to development!! Children learn through play every single day!!

Yes! I agree! As a special education teacher, I know that play is so dynamic and necessary for student learning!

I love these kind of videos where people show the space in which their children learn and play. It's very inspirational. ❤ Thank you for sharing Delilah.

My kids start making memory verse books in 5th grade. They write the verse in their best handwriting and then draw a picture in full color to go with it. We slide the complete pages in their books as we go (using a presentation book with page protectors). They turn out beautifully and they are great keepsakes.

I have a 2nd grader, kindergartner, and a 4 year old, 2 year old and 10 month old, and am also homeschooling. It’s a busy chaotic season but beats sending my kids away day after day🫶🏻

And SAFER for kids, with all the school shootings going on!! THAT, I’m ashamed to say, is in the USA. I don’t think I’ve heard of one in Canada. And then we f course, there are influences by the teachers, that isn’t always what we want our kids to learn! And last, but not least, the kids are not being taught the right things, like they used to be, when I was in school, decades ago! Also, if a child just didn’t do well in school, for the yr they just finished, the teacher will pass them to go on to the next yr school f school, in the fall, instead of holding them back! Those are the kids that have a really tough time from then on, learning what there suppose to learn, because they never got it in the first place! Home schooling is THEE way to go!!!

A lovely window seat under the window would be amazing. You can make them so the vent is protected, and then either side of the vent could be storage. And it’s also a lovely place for the children to sit or an extra survive for them to play on.

🍄 For your big window, have you thought about putting whiteboard pencils and a sponge so your children can draw on the window? Your children are very lucky to have a beautiful playroom for them! 🌈

I would LOVE a downloadable version of your memory verses. I’ve always wanted to take that idea of doing them with my family when they’re old enough (bubs is currently only 13 months) and a download would be awesome. So would like a desk calendar-type design where every week you can roll it back for a new one- then restart the next year

Our playroom morphed into primarily a school room as the children have gotten older. It's so bittersweet! 🧡 very beautiful space you've put together! I love the spinning bookshelf/dollhouse.

i had an idea for home schooling; where after the mandatory curriculum was through was to give the kids the choice to pick a subject they liked and they would have to teach us about said subject. and or pick a craft to all do
@foofookachoo11364 ай бұрын
GREAT IDEAS!! Just shake things up a bit, huh!! I think kids would like that!! Not to mention how enlightening it would be for the parents!
@edenwest70444 ай бұрын
@@foofookachoo1136 yeah! it seemed to help with giving school a more fun time when trough the mandatory teachings and the older kids always have fun "playing teacher" I feel like Eloise would really enjoy it and the younger boys would have fun choosing crafts for sure! Also it benefits the kiddos being able to make choices in learning and might make them want to learn even more because they get to choose

Home schooling is really not at all for me. I am so happy that I can send my kids to school. 🙂My country Sweden does not allow it anyways, so I couldn't do it even if I wanted to. All kids here have to go to public or private schools with licensed teachers. People who really want to home school have to move abroad - not many do so.
