Arijit's is a phenomenal singer. I just don't like the songs he pics. Every song of his has a poignant feel to it. Even the happy love songs seems like being sung from a heartbroken perspective.

Actually Arijit picks best songs. He has great knowledge about the compositions . Those songs loved by millions of people. Arijit has got some of the best compositions of modern era. Main phir bhi tumko chahunga, hawayein, shayad, main dhoondne ko zamaane mein, khairiyat pucho, humdard, naina, agar tum saath ho, channa mereya , aayat, laal ishq, kalank ,tera yaar hoon main- All these are great songs. No other modern singer has got such legendary songs.

Arijit have sung romantic songs in happy mood like tera fitoor, kesariya. His sad songs are in intense sad mood. He has sung so many enjoyable party dance songs like 'shanivaar raati, main tera boyfriend, nashe si chad gayi, lutt putt gaya, dance ka bhoot, pyaar hota kai baar hai, pagglait title track, jhoome jo pathaan. All these songs have happy feeling not sad feeling. Don't force your opinion to others. If you talk about modern singers having legendary songs, I would place Arijit over any other. KK was limited in many genres. He couldn't sing classical songs. Listen to 'desi boyz' Arijit's version. It is better than original song by KK.
