Great 1st second half match up. In the men's, Troy was rolling through the competition while Ray had a lot of bad luck. For the women, Lori and Peggy scored a total of 93 points. Lori with 47, and Peggy with 46. Lori did great on Assault, but came close every time to hit the target, so unlucky @9:48, @9:58, @10:08, @10:16, @10:25. The only break the female gladiators has was @26:46 when Peggy fell from the rings in hang tough. In the gauntlet, both Lori and Peggy scored the 10 points. @36:34, in my Larry Thompson words, "In the last gauntlet run, Ice did pin the contender with her crossbeam, and that's not in the rules. However, the contender got all the way to the end for her 10 points, so Ice's disqualification is canceled out." Lori and Peggy made the female gladiators have a horrible day, and did their job. Great episode

Peggy Odita was a 1x Ohio state runner-up and 1x state champion in long jump ('85-'86) and 3x state champion in high jump ('84-'86) for Upper Arlington HS (affluent suburb surrounded by Columbus, also the alma mater of Jack Nicklaus) before achieving additional track and field success in college at Stanford.

Imagine scoring 47 points and only getting a 0.5 second head start in the eliminator. What an unlucky first-round draw for Lori Ferguson.

Lori was a great competitor along with Peggy O'dita. They both scored a combine total of 93 points. Not only was unlucky in the eliminator, but also in assault where she missed the target four out of five times.

Hawk is so flaccid. One goofy comment from him in Breakthrough and Conquer is more flaccid than all the dry humping in Hang Tough. So flaccid I just don't know what to do.

Would've loved to seen her against Cheryl Wilson or Kathy Mollica. I know in later seasons they would do champions vs champions but not until the Global Gladiators.
