At this point...the question that begs to be asked is... Why is there no political formula that when a Prime Minister is so hated, (70% of Canadians) that, he should be either removed or, it triggers an automatic election. That would be call democracy by the people.

The capital gains tax increase is not included in the budget, because the NDP would not support the budget if it remained in. Many of their largest financial supporters are doctors and other medical professionals. If Trudeau wanted his budget to pass, he had to have the NDP support. The NDP do not care that without the capital tax gains increase, the budget deficit increases to at least $70 Billion from $50 Billion. And while the deficit increase is obvious, no one is even mentioning that in light of the fact that the tax increase was not tabled with the budget. The tax increase was tabled as a separate item. That way, the NDP can vote against it and let the Bloc vote with the Liberals, or just let it die.

The NB clinic... both Trudeau & Singh said it had to stay open. Even went as far as trying to take away transfer payments, endangering the lives of New Brunswickers. In NB, according to Stats Can, approximately 600 women needed an abortion in the province in one year. The Feds wanted a private clinic kept open for 200 of these procedures! Heart patients only get services at two hospitals in this province & there is three times as many people needing these services. HEALTH CARE IS PROVINCIAL JURISDICTION.

Brian and Hal - not even half measures...impactical policies at best, counter productive at worst. The party itself is making fear driven decisions without engaging the people they should be. Policies seem theoretical among a small group, missing engagement with the front line impacted people. I doubt they even bother doing any benefit impact analysis. OK, so I’m gonna say something here before even watch the full video because I am fully versed in the topic. The not withstanding clause is in cases that judges are being complete morons. I.e. letting high risk offenders out on bail after they violated bail. The current conservative leader has stated that he will not touch abortion. I will not state my stance because it’s irrelevant.
