I finally have some comfort that the most positive thing for me about living with schizophrenia is using my artistic intentions and activism as a merged force to tell others who are completely unaware of this disorder. Cecilia is a champion! Thank you for your courage, Cecilia! ✊💜

Hello, I too have experienced voices in my ears and thoughts that are not mine. But I learned in the Christian Holy Bible that there is an invisible war on Earth involving very evil demonic spirits who can speak into our ears all manner of thoughts. The Lord Jesus Christ helped me in this battle against the schemes and strategies of the enemy and He can Help and deliver anyone else who will believe God. Please listen to my story on KZbin at Hearing Voices: Real Help and Understanding kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaCqmatjhNeZosk Praying for you, with compassion, Carol

The difference is better... After almost a decade of social research, I've seen that those who are goodhearted and who struggle almost in every case is a better human than those who haven't. We are humans and we aren't made to fit a molde.

Hello Lauren, Wonderful. The only symptom I had was delusions of grandeur when I had schizophrenia stress induced psychosis three times from 1987 to 2007 and I was so blessed not to have paranoia or hearing voices. I only met one man over the years in a day hospital I used to be able to go to for socialising who hears voices and that must be very painful indeed. Cecelia was talking about hallucinations in her head and I'm just guessing that she is actually talking about hearing voices. Keep up the great work you are doing and just keep making your real classy great videos. Peter Nolan. Ph.D.(physics). Dublin. Ireland.

I have a friend I believe to be schizophrenic but is undiagnosed. She has never harmed herself or anyone else so she can't be forced to a hospital to be evaluated. However she will soon be homeless due to unemployment and all other things that go along with mental illness. (Very Poor hygiene, voices, lack of focus, bad health, etc) How can I convince her to seek out help from a mental health professional when she can't see she is sick? Am I supposed to bring these concerns up? Am I supposed to confront her about them? She thinks she still has a career but hasn't seen a client in over 2 years. I'm not sure if it is psychosis or just her not willing to accept that her career is over. I'm really lost as to how I can help when she can't help herself anymore.

Its not voices you hear, right? It doesn't have a sound quality to it. It has no distinct sensory origin. It might be the case that you have a low grade extrasensory perceptions. Someone said those words, Someone thought those words and you precieved it from a distance. Let me guess, it happens more often when the weather is cold. It might feel more like amplification rather than voices. It happens instantly If you amplify/intensify a feeling? Does it feel your mind has assumed a geared up/enhanced/accelerated mode? Does it feel like time perception have changed drastically, and time stands still?
