Had the nursery dude come out and give us a presentation on the chemical. If I remember correctly, it cost $2,400.00 a gal, and you use 1 tbsp per tree. Supposed to last for a couple of years. Some kind of nano tech soap that suffocates the beetle. 🤷🏽

The only manmade ingredient is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which is classified as a Food Additive by the US Food and Drug Administration, and it is used in toothpaste. Dates were harvested from Bahrain and tested for 247 toxic substances at 10 parts per billion. The results were zero.

Coconut 🌴 trees aren’t a natural native species to Hawaii ... They were introduced to Hawaii like Iron wood trees . 🤙 .

Nothing is native to Hawaii. Everything flew in or were introduced somehow. There were no seeds or animals in lava.

Coconuts can drift on the high seas finding island lands everywhere to populate ... so not introduced by man.

Develop a pheromone synthesized in laboratory to attract into traps. Also UV light traps set up near trees.

yeah, I've seen some about that (and apparently you can eat them raw, take out the poop, dipped in vinegar and chili).. some comment (elsewhere), said it tasted like shrimp.. I can't say myself, because I don't know.. but when I thought about it, I even think they look similar to those tiger shrimp butt's, or what the big ones are called!?
