In 2018 my family moved to Ireland to work with a very small church. 10 days before we moved Ireland closed immigration to religious workers. They promised a new scheme in 90 days. It took 180 days and basically said you could not live in Ireland as a religious worker unless you were part of an established religious group in Ireland. My family, though all my great grandparents save one were Irish, was not allowed to stay. So why can everyone else just walk in?

I think most Irish people don’t blame the working class British person .. Most English people when they are told what happens to the Irish are shocked but of course they are not told this in their history lessons as Paul McCartney wrote give Ireland back to the Irish now it is keep Ireland for the Irish.

@@johnhiggins8280 How did Israel steal the land? Jews were there over a 1500 years before the Arabs conquered and colonized the region in the 7th century AD. The English likewise invaded and colonized Ireland, holding control over it for centuries, but eventually the Irish took back their homeland, just as the Jews took back theirs.

You have a very distorted view of history my friend my family goes back 6 generations of Irish ancestry don’t preach to me about Ireland. I think you should find a library and maybe read a few history books not written by the victors and maybe you might find the truth.
