I think this is OK. When the germ token gets exiled, you still have to pay seven to attach it to a creature. When the Kaldra token gets exiled, or sacrificed, or whatever, using the helm only costs ONE to make a whole new token and start the process over.

Totally going to run this in my Brago clones deck. Being able to blink it, so you can use it both on offence and defence every turn seems pretty good + it brings back the token in case someone exiles it. Oh, and while I know Brago is often used as a stax commander, I highly recommend Brago "clone tribal", your games will change every game, depending on what your opponents play and a lot of clones are fairly budget friendly :)

A really interesting application of this new equipment is in a Sissay weatherlight captian deck, because she can fetch "legendary permanents" and put it on the battlefield. However, 7 CMC might be out of her reach until it doesn't matter anymore.

remember that time when Mirrodin was released, it was the launch of the new mechanic 'equipment', where to showcase this new type of card they created the Kaldra equipment's. Each equipment was in one of each set of mirrodin creating a suspense behind what Kaldra was going to be, making us wait the entire block for the big reveal. Not only that we needed a deck with all pieces, put it on the board to then and only then activate the super powerful and special creature.. it was like the ideia of Exodia from yu-gi-oh, hard do get working but it felt good.. now years later.. this.. its all complete from the get go, and the saddest part, is not even good in the current state of the game im sad from what this game have become.. i miss the old days and im talking about a block that almost destroyed the game when it was launched

You need Deathtouch (along with the Trample that it has) to do what you are asking. Otherwise you have to assign lethal to each creature in the order you assign blockers.

The insect planeswalker is a commander because the card itself counts as a legendary creature when it's not on the field. Kaldra Compleat is an artifact that makes a token. The card itself is not a legendary creature, therefore it can't be a commander.

Just a little magic lore here. Compleat is a term that the phyrexians use to descibe there process of removing all living flesh from a person with metal there by coming into matureity in phyrexian socity. This card seems to indicate that kaldra was likely compleated by the phrexians at some point. What that means for us is I hope your not still waiting for that kaldra token.

You dissapoint me Mitch, you forgot that Godo can also use that equipment. Sure now days everyone go for the One Shot combo but you can never go wrong on having a back up plan. Also, the only bad part of this new Kaldra is that they nerfed the Sword part, now it is limited to combat damage.
