when shifting in a slur I have to release pressure of the fingers or do I shift with the same pressure I use to play the double stops?

Release the pressure in both the left hand and the right hand even when shifting under a slur. Keeping the pressure on will make the shift very difficult to get consistent. 👍 Watch out for the shifting video which will go more into detail.
