A prequel: There’s a first time for everything | Learning bushcraft with the Victorinox Ranger

I almost didn’t share this. The first time trying anything new can be less than elegant. But, maybe it’s helpful to look back and learn. In this episode, I practice some rudimentary bushcraft skills with a Swiss Army Knife, the Ranger from Victorinox. I make a wedge, baton for the first time, feather stick, and use the Firefly ferrocerium rod from Tortise Gear and Black Beard’s Fire Plugs to start a small fire.
