Brian don't be ashamed of your age. I think you're doing quite OK. I'm not afraid to let everyone know that in October, I'll be 81. Now, you have to understand, I go to the local senior center every day for lunch. Many of the members are not even close to my age and I must admit look a lot older than me. Must be the married life. haha

Happy birthday Brian. I hear you, and at 59 myself I too agree the 'coming out' of our younger generation doesn't seem to be such the 'event' it was when I was 18. Society, self-acceptance, the law, and religion have thankfully all evolved a little thank god (buddha, ala, kylie, whever). Envious? I guess in a way..perhaps I wish I had the same sense of freedom and acceptance back at that age . But mostly I'm so happy it's not such a weight as it was way back when this puss was still a kitten. hi from Australia btw

Great cake Brian. Enjoy pickleball. I started playing when I moved to Florida. I’m 70. Just warm up first, stretch and drink lots of water…..before and during….except for cooking and baking, stay out of the kitchen..lol. happy birthday Brian. I understand what you say that you are envious of how homosexuality is more accepted now than when you were younger and suppose it's true. I am 30 but i wouldn't say coming out was easy for me. where I live, it's a struggle and everyday I have to come out again because people still assume I'm straight... On the other hand I while feeling envious is valid, I want to invite you to really think of lucky you are and to feel grateful about it. what you have with your boyfriend is something than most of us gay guys want for ourselves, and as years pass and we remain alone, the chances of it happening only get slimmer.
