Usually you turn bowls from a chunk of wood that end up being being beautiful pieces. But this time, the feature ring on this bowl took things to a new dimension and enhanced the figure of the wood even more. Ya knocked it out of the ball park on this one, Rod!! Semper Fi, brother

Good morning, Rod. It is nice being with you today. It felt right being in your shop and hearing about your project. I have been away from the lathe for a while and this video will inspire a return soon. The blank used today was beautiful in itself, the feature ring took it to another level. In the end, one Pretty Bowl. It never ceases to amaze, the hidden wonders of wood. Sharp tools, an inspiration and the use of time given, yielded a bowl that will be viewed for years and years to come. Most folks will remember the scripture verse and it is worth repeating. All the best as you continue moving forward. May a peace fall over our world. God bless. Semper Fi
