Technically almost all semi-auto pistols are recoil operated rather than “basic” blowback, because the barrels lock to the slides and they both move together before unlocking. Pretty much all semi-auto .22’s and most 9mm PCC’s are “basic” blowback where only spring tension and the inertial resistance of the slide/bolt hinder opening. This pistol is “unbasic” blowback because it’s not truly locked, so pressure on the slide alone will open the breech, but along with the spring and mass resistance, it is further hindered from opening by leverage.

I'm sorry, 8 kilogram pull weight on the first shot is bonkers. Maybe, it's my smooth brain, but google tells me that's 17.637 lbs. That can't be right? Said at 2:17 and repeated at 2:31.

8kg DA pull seems like a lil bit of an issue, one that could be very hard to ignore. I'm really hoping we see some reviews of this thing though, I'm very curious about how it shoots.

Elysien, Vigrand… interesting firearms, however those prices are just not competitive, I don't believe they can succeed with this. Do I see future episodes of Forgotten Weapons in the making? Anyway, greetings from Prague, Czechia.

I haven't looked into it, but I'm tempted to say they exist solely for the patents their inventors filed
