A primer on service packages

In this video, I discuss different package options for service providers and clients. There are two main approaches: standalone sessions and package deals. Standalone sessions allow clients to book individual sessions without any bundled packages. On the other hand, package deals involve buying a set number of sessions at a discounted price. These packages can be based on topics, goals, or specific problems that clients want to address. Another option is the subscription model, where clients can subscribe to a certain number of sessions per month at a lower price. This model is flexible and allows clients to continue sessions until they feel satisfied.

George, how did you handle time off on a subscription model? And planning capacity enough in advance when signing new clients vs prolonging current subscriptions? ❤

Yes, it's important to plan in breaks with a subscription model. I tell clients (before they sign up) that I take 1 week off calls every month, and a few times a year, two weeks off. As for planning capacity, I give current clients the opportunity to continue before giving any remaining spots to new clients.
