I have found Dr. Tan's advice about tocotrienols useful for reducing fibrosis from long term radiation damage. His observation that tocotrienols are 50 times more powerful than tocopherols in reducing oxidation of fat cells gives me hope. I have been taking tocotrienols ever since he announced this on your channel and my fibrosis has been slowly resolving. I thus pay attention to what he is telling us about GG. He is my hero!

Hello Doctor and Richard. Thanks for sharing. Have question on annato with regard to powdered spice version. Can one get the GG from this spice at a good level? Also would the annato too have the vitiman e as mentioned here? I use on food. McCormick , one of biggest spice company’s, use to produce but no longer. So have to get from not a big spice producer and wonder then about quality control with smaller producer.

Hi Michael, thanks for the question. With respect to vitamin e, yes the plant also has the delta tocotrienol form. Dr Tan uses annato as the source for the vit e based product that he produces.

If GG is a part of the chlorophyll molecule, and we eat tons of it when we eat green vegetables, why do we need capsules of 0.3 g GG for $1 a day?

Hi thanks for your question. It is part of chlorophyl but I am guessing we cannot obtain it from there, otherwise a simple solution to SAMS (statin associated muscle symptoms) would be to eat a green salad.

Hi Roger, thanks for the questions. We do get into some of that later. There has been one human trial and others are ongoing but research seems quite early on GG so I don't think we have answers for many of the questions. I will see what I can find.

From what I can find, GG has been around since at least 2007, and I can't find a single reference to Dr Tan as its discoverer or inventor. So, snake oil salesman or simple huckster? Plus he seems to be stealing valor from those who actually did the preliminary research.

Hi Jon, there are older papers looking at GG, and Dr Tan's name is not on many of the newer papers, but some are using GG Gold (which was donated by American River) and based on our conversation he is working with the teams on the trials (as he said he is not involved in them, which is a good thing as it would be a conflict of interest).

I found quite a few older papers about GG, although they refer to it as GGOH. I have not seen Dr. Tan's name mentioned in these papers, so am not sure why he says he discovered it. However, I remain a big fan for his enthusiastic promotion of GG and tocotrienols.
