I third it! I stumbled upon him really, I'm not a culinary professional, and though I love to cook, I never focused on the fancy pro chefs, but this man requries respect! His way of just commanding attention just by speaking in a low voice, and him sending his Michelin stars back... How can anyone not absolutely love this man as well as marvel in his uniqueness? I do not know many chefs, but MPW is my favourite! As for tires, I prefer Falken but currently run on Nokian.
@thomascurry47624 жыл бұрын
@wildebest You are most correct...MPW is a cantankerous old man and before that he was a cantankerous young man. I make no judgement on his character as a person, but only on the reflections he shares about life. To some he may be nasty and to others he may be nice, and the people who know him can debate his character. However, no one can deny that the man has been, and is, a success in a profession that seems to have chosen him rather than the other way around. The insights he has gained throughout his unconventional life are fascinating and enriching...at least to me. He maybe an old sod, but even a bitter fruit has higher nutritional value than sweet and pretty chocolate truffle.

@3:40 Marco nails it on the head The best meals are the ones in a proper environment And this does not mean a nice looking restaurant I can give you my example : Sitting on a park bench over looking the ocean on a sunny day on the shores of England eating fish and chips, Outside patio at night (1am) on a side street in Manila eatting Sisig and drinking beer with friends Music in the background fisherman's wharf eating fish that was caught 1 hr before hand in Greece fresh herbs and lemon Thrown on at your table as they top up your white wine and dates and figs in a bowl That one meal your mom use to make and you have not had in 10 years ..But you still remember the taste and the smell For me it was a simple stew with beef chunks and a peppery gravy
