Seen so many Marco interviews where he tells this exact story. I still watch and listen completely hypnotized. What an icon

Marco is one of the best Chefs that this country has ever produced. He's utterly passionate about food and is a joy to watch cooking. I love the fact that despite his fame and wealth, Marco is very humble warm and never forgets his working class roots. I could listen to him talk for hours. What an icon!

Spot on: many interviews, the same story. But why do all these so called journalists all ask the same questions ? I for one would very much like to dig a little inside his human side , not the professional one. I've read his book and I'm intrigued by a variety of things: - what are his favourite foods ? What did his father cook on sundays ? Did he cook besides his father ? - how many lady's knickers did he recieve on a montly basis via mail? - how much did Gordon pay for them when auctioned ? - how many women threw themselves in his arms over the years, literally ? - did Marco have other passions on Sundays besides fishing ? If not, what kind of fishing tools did he use, what baits ? What was his biggest capture ? - did he have any funny adventures in the kitchen when he worked with Raymond Blanc, who was a very vivid and joyful individual ? - did he take any beatings from Pierre "The Bear" ? - did he ever argue with either one of his wives over how dinner has been prepared ? For Christ's sake people, stop asking him about his professional itinerary because we all know it.

When marco said not everyone wants to be an artist, because living the life of an artist is very painful. I somehow caught a glimpse of emotion in his eyes, his face that he let out. And i wish i could hear more. 😢

The greatest thing to come from your work is to INSPIRE others to follow in your footsteps and MPW has it in bucket loads, I've literally been planning for a few years now how to escape the mundane office management job to "get behind the stove". This story is available in so many interviews but I find myself compelled, every, single, time... Climbing the mountain is more challenging and exciting than standing on top of it

He’s got this story off pat and to a fine art. See & heard it countless times. He relishes talking about himself. He’s so self-obsessed and self-opinionated. Arrogance personified.
@CooManTunes Жыл бұрын
Not in a malicious way, though. He's selfless in his arrogance. He's giving himself to the world. You can't become as great as Marco, without arrogance. It's about how selfless you can be, at the same time.
@greypenda Жыл бұрын
Self obsessed? Where anywhere did he potrayed that?
@sarapickard7634 Жыл бұрын
well yeah, he’s done a lot of interviews where he was asked about himself and so it makes sense to get your story condensed into something that you know will entertain and interest the people who listen to it. this isn’t uncommon for people who get interviewed a lot.
@GH-oi2jf6 ай бұрын
The interviewer asked for the story. He is being interviewed where he started, so it is appropriate to hear it.
