Had the same problem and found my fuse blades twisted to make good contact. Had to melt poly mask to reflow solder connections on fuse holder to fix it for good 👍.

I’m jealous, I got stuck on a no heating call last week for like 2 hrs lol the h/o’s weather guard fell off the flue pipe on his roof and wouldn’t you know it….a bird fell in there 😂

Easy peasy. My last issue was pushing reset button on fuse when tripped due to overheat caused by dirty filter. My favorite fix.

The fuse probably made a good connection before . Then over time as it got warm then cool it probably just moved just enough to no longer make a connection .

Amazing how you reinstalled the first fuse and the toilet flushed. The second fuse - some auto technicians will put a little twist in the blades to ensure a better connection if the pins in the fuse holder have been spread apart and are no longer pinching the blades tightly. Now if we could only get heat strips in those cold ceramic bowls.

My brother called esrly one day last week and wanted to know how to light his pilot light on his furnace( Carrier 90%). I told him he didn't have a pilot and asked what the furnace did. He said it came for a few seconds the quit. I figured a dirty flame sensor. I went over and cleaned it the burners lit. After about a minute the left burner started popping on and off, then all 4 burners popped off. Turned out the guys that were working on their house siding had pulled the concentric out of the wall causing the furnace to suck in exhaust gas thru the combustion air pipe.
