Nice one Jack! Siduction is great, very well put together also. Some minor additions for anyone interested: 1. they always have the very latest kernel as one of the first distros out there (important if you have new hardware). 2. if you use btrfs automatic snapshotting is enabled through snapper, so you can go back 3. there is a very extensive manual available as pdf (over 300 pages) to help you with tweaking and tuning. 4. on the commandline nala is installed by default and it is actually recommended to do all upgrades/updates from the cli (you don't have to of course) and last but not least: the forum is professional (not a lot of fluff going on there) but very knowledgeable and helpful. Keep them coming!

Just installed Siduction in VM to try it out. Tried lxqt version and it failed 3/4 the way . Tried again with xorg version and it installed but didnt unmount properly at reboot. I forced off and then reloaded ok. Updating took too much time for 2000+ packages. After leaving it alone to update so many , i found it paused for my input. Grub install paused for me to tell it where to install . Several service restart prompts during updating. For any rolling release a year old install iso is too old!! ISO's should be refreshed monthly or at least quarterly. Went through several update upgrade cycles before & after full upgrade.

This KDE rolling release distro looks seductive.

It's always nice to have SID with KDE on one of my four Debian PCs. SID 2023.1 is well done and I am looking forward to Plasma 6.

A window update it always hits the network when it does clear the tpm is the cure! Not all that things people go through

I like your enthusiasm, but I'm not seduced😉 I stick with KDE Neon and I hate to install another distro again. It's takes to much time of setting everything up again.

Hey jack just for fun I did the dispicable and dual booted windows I'm playing with the AI seeing what Linux can do I've learned that all that rubbish about Microsoft updates breaking Linux is hog wash it hits the tpm just clear the tpm on the window side it goes back to normal it didn't touch Linux it can't it doesn't understand Linux filesystems! However just a tip for those that are actually reluctant because of all the idiots that don't tell real info trying to sound important! And I liked this os I played with it in a VM
